Sorry, but he lost, and you lost too, because you overrated a guy who, at his absolute peak, clearly only had about 18% as much skill as Whyte. Athleticism couldn't have possibly played a factor in this fight when Whyte was so much more skilled that he was able to hit and not get hit all night long. You don't need excuses to explain why you're wrong. Sometimes you just make an obviously bad prediction.
This was never a 50-50 fight IMO, don't understand the folks who thought it was.

Whyte is now ranked higher than Joseph Parker on boxrec after slapping Browne into taking a ridiculous Hollywood dive that had everyone fooled.

It seems beating an overweight punching bag is considered a legitimate fight now?

Maybe someone should fight Larry Holmes or Ernie Shavers next to get higher ranking ?

He doesn't have the power. Browne knocked himself out the wat he went down and landed. Poor guy probably couldn't even breath properly with all that bloody nose.

Browne was a walking punch bag. He was out of shape and is one of the slowest heavies I've seen in a long time. He is the definition of a plodder. I've not watched a whole heap of Brown fights but I'm surprised people fought he would beat Whyte.

Credit to Whyte regardless of how poor Browne was. He got the job done and in devastating fashion. Whyte is a decent fighter but I don't see him giving Wilder any trouble. Whyte will not stand up to the power of Wilder.

What on earth are you going on about? How is a 68 year old Larry Holmes in any way comparable to a 38 year old Browne, who up until this fight was still relevant in the division?

It's amazing how quickly people paint the loser in a fight. I'd love to see the posts which higglight your confident perspective leading up to the flight.

Brutal KO, jeez he looked out of shape and lethargic. Wonder if he is gonna retire or give it another go?

He looked totally different in the Chagaev fight. That's why I and many others picked him to beat Whyte.

Your post is ridiculous.

1. It wasn't a dive, it was a brutal KO.

2. What Larry Holmes has to do with this fight? Holmes was one o fthe greatest HWs of all time while Browne was top-20 fighter at one point of his career at best.

p if that was a dive then Browne needs to become an actor. Because that would of been the best acting in history

My thoughts, but that's really what Grailer is suggesting:

If he was going to take a dive I think he would have done it before his face took so much damage.

Like some others I was pretty concerned for a few minutes, that was a heavy knockdown and I feared the worst.
