Avoiding the inevitable stare-down afterwards? If he's ringside, the pressure is on.
I reckon he knows he's got to fight AJ as his last option and will take there routes until then.
Anyway, I want to see Whyte vs Wilder next.

If the deal will ever be signed, I would keep a 2nd and 3rth fighter contracted as well, otherwise it could be an expensive joke, like Wilder has done before when he was supposed to stand up.
Re: So Wilder backs out of being ringside for AJ v Parker...
Reckon he knows whyte will be on him like a tramp on a bag of chips and wont mess around so he is staying at home safe behing a tv screen then call them out safetly 4000+ miles away

Bang on, AJ or parker whoever wins would have probably invited him into the ring. Whyte however could easily be a loose cannon.
He really knows how not to build afighthyoe
Re: So Wilder backs out of being ringside for AJ v Parker...
Honestly can't see any good reason for him not being there. He's being paid to work for sky, flown over first class, nice hotel etc... It benefits him greatly to be there! It's a no brainer and really fuckin strange. I thought he wanted the AJ fight next up and Hearn would be shíte bagging it but this doesn't show Wilder in a good light at all.
Come over make a show, blank Whyte and say he wants AJ next, few wee daft rhymes..... The media would be going mad and then it puts the pressure back on Hearn and AJ. Hopefully he sees sense and has a change of heart.

Seems like a diva move, he didn't get exactly what he wanted so knocked it on the head completely.
Doesn't bode well for when negotiations begin in earnest...

According to wilder team Joshua has said added security and a restraining order will be placed.
If they can't confront one another why bother going?

Don’t blame him ! After offering him the Joshua fight, greedy Hearn is suddenly switching it to Whyte, to fatten his bank account, instead of just making the superfight everyone wants to see.
And at least we avoid the unsavoury sight of a gurning Adam Smith ejaculating on Wilder’s leg ringside.

I think Wilder turning up could work for him. Make a bit of a show then it's all over the papers and it puts the heat on the prick Hearn. I get what you're saying right enough but still think he should make an appearance and do a Bellew at AJ........MightyWarrior wrote: ↑28 Mar 2018, 15:16 Don’t blame him ! If Wilder becomes the second man to stop Whyte it'll increase Hearn's profit for Joshua-Wilder. And should Whyte spring an upset, Joshua-Whyte II isn't the end of his world. Either way, one man comes away with a ton more hype.
I've nothing against Joshua, but this is why I'd like Parker to win. I'm sure Fury's also on Hearn's mind, and if he can use Whyte to delay Joshua-Wilder it gives Fury time to be ready to challenge the winner from ringside.

Hearn isn't just being greedy, he is being wary too. He has identified Wilder's right hand as the biggest threat out there to his cashcow.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑28 Mar 2018, 15:16 Don’t blame him ! Eddie is getting far too much credit.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑29 Mar 2018, 04:11He's said he isn't coming because Eddie was a meanie to him.
Wilder should come, on Skys dime, talk about himself all night, blow off any talk of Whyte and then force his way into the ring after the fight.
If he doesn't show up it is stupidity on his part, he has the ability to be the talking point after this fight...
Re: So Wilder backs out of being ringside for AJ v Parker...
Yeah I assumed Eddie saying he wasn't coming is just to hype it up even more. Be very surprised if he doesn't come his ego wouldn't be able to deal with all the bottle job jibes he will get if he stays at home

For me, Wilder pulling out speaks volumes about who is avoiding whom.
If AJ vs Wilder isn't made, I know who I'll be blaming.

Re: So Wilder backs out of being ringside for AJ v Parker...
Hearn has said it has to be Whyte then AJ. Hearn seems to be contradicting himself a bit this week as well. For me if AJ wins then it has to be Wilder next. Whyte can keep and fight an eliminator in the meantime. It's a really ball bag move Wilder not showing up. He's cutting his nose of to spite his face. Him showing up and making a show forces Hearn to make the AJ fight and puts the ball back in his court.
Fûck sake he's being flown over first class, being put in a nice hotel and paid by Sky! It's nuts if he doesn't show!
