I think Breazeale can win, Pulev is getting older.

That's not a bad matchup by the IBF...

I'd expect Pulev to outpoint him.

Isn't Breazeale highly ranked with the WBC as well? Wouldn't surprise me to see him pull out of this and go down that route with a final eliminator against Whyte. Hearn has said that if AJ-Wilder doesn't happen this summer then Joshua will look to fight in America in August. Joshua-Miller with Whyte-Breazeale as chief support wouldn't be too bad.

Same. Too well schooled for the crude Breazeale. Unless Breazeale can catch him if he's slowed a bit it'll be a wide UD for Pulev.

so mandatory determiner btwn a guy aj already spanked and a guy who wouldnt accepted offers to fight aj, then finally accepted one only to predictably pull out.

I think this is a cracking match up. Not world class fight, but one I expect to be entertaining.

Breazeale has been rubbing shoulders with contenders in the last few years, and notched up decent wins against Kassi, Mansour, Ugonoh and Molina. He's very crude, but shows big heart. Managed to stage good come backs against Mansour and Ugonoh. Think he'll definitely be more confident and in form than the big Bulgarian.

Pulev has been largely anonymous for the last 4 years, and only has a comfortable win against a declining Chisora on his recent resume (despite being SD). Be interesting to see how his levels have kept, and how he copes with an active, hungry competitor with big heart.

I have Breazeale in a stoppage. He usually goes all out, and unless this turns into an unlikely tactical affair, I expect him to go all out for the knockout.

Genuinely a good match up of contenders by the IBF. Not sure how Breazeale has improved since his first bout with Joshua but a re-match could be interesting and the Pulev fight would be a good test of how he stands against a consistently high ranking opponent.

I'd say Breazeale, if the fight happens. More likely decision over KO, if it happens in the States or in Europe and he seems to have been the more active; if not by much.

Brezeale had 2 fights last year, his first fight since losing against Joshua was a Knock out win against a 17-0 prospect (Izuagbe Ugonoh) and a retirement win against Eric Molina; another contender who's been in against Joshua and Wilder since they won their world titles.

Pulev on the other hand hasn't fought since winning a 12 round decision over Kevin Johnson almost a year ago and still doesn't have a fight lined up.
(Johnson as it turns out has been more active then Pulev since the loss. Fighting 3 times in Germany. Winning 2 and losing 1)

Perfect opponent for Pulev. Someone who is extremely slow and very easy to hit where Pulev can jab his way to a predictable 118-110 points victory before he goes hiding from AJ for a 4th time when they're due to fight.
