de Mori would be too gun shy to lock horns with Browne after getting
beaten up by a faded David Haye.
Speaking of Haye, he'll need to improve heaps to be competitive against Bellew
in their upcoming rematch in May.
What chance haye pulls out citing an injury ? :oo

I want the drugs you're on! :OhYes: Haye was on his way to knocking Bellew out before his achilles went.

From memory only watched highlights of that fight
Didn't realise how serious the injury was.
Looks a real mess in the surgery photos. [much worse than a broken toe]
Apologies to "The Haymaker" :TU:

It was an awful injury. The surgery photos were pretty graphic.

Surprised to see he's still competing but did look like a potentially intimidating heavyweight, definitely a powerful guy but haven't seen him fight since.

Still has a good record despite the loss to David Haye and since he's based in Europe now, his best bet is to fight a few more European heavyweights and build his experience up more before considering a title run.

Could eventually be looking at an area title like the PABA or WBC Asian boxing council or WBO oriental Heavyweight title that are currently vacant or maybe the OPBF and WBO Asia Pacific title held by Kyotaro Fujimoto (Japan) (Who is currently ranked 15th by the WBA and 6th by the WBO)

It is easy to get impressed with career win/loss records. However, until you look a bit deeper than the raw numbers they can be very misleading. Anyone getting overly excited about Mark de Mori's record needs to look a bit deeper.

Fighting fit and up and coming young blokes seems like too much hard work for Mark, who now being a denizen in Split, Croatia probably prefers to get stuck into the Zagrebački odrezak (veal steaks stuffed with ham and cheese, breaded and fried).

As bad as Browne looked against Whyte I think he would still put DeMori away.

Not only is the great man headlining this TBA fest, he is also the promoter.

With all the local taxi-drivers gone into hiding, a desperate search over Europe is now underway to find suitable stiffs at short notice to fill the card.

TBA would have to rank as one of his toughest opponents to be fair.

Hadn't noticed De Mori is promoting it. Did notice that at least two of the other guys on the card had already fought him though. So it all ties in.

Well surprise, surprise. Mark de Mori the promoter has the same modus operandi as Mark de Mori the boxer.

de Mori and his mate Ivica Perkovic both fought absolutely terrible opponents who basically get paid to get knocked out.

de Mori's atrocious mismatch was against a tragic with a now 11-18 record who has been KOed 16 times!

Incredibly, Perkovic's opponent was even worse. Of the 1,239 heavyweights listed in BoxRec the guy is ranked 1,235th.

de Mori will probably fight the other guy next up.

Mark De Mori continues to plumb the very murkiest depths of the heavyweight division.

De Mori's next opponent is a dreadful Hungarian who has only had six pro fights and you guessed it, been knocked out in his two most recent. Boxrec rate this guy at 1,017 of the 1,294 active world heavyweights.

How low can you go Mark De Mori?

Credit where it's due, he's putting himself out there for ridicule, and probably making some good coin doing so.

Has there ever been a boxer with a more padded record though?
