GGG Replacement Opponent

Post by dr.mjr »

I think either going to be Andrade, Spike or Derevyanchenko.

I want to see Andrade but I think it is going to be Spike.

I have a minor suspicion Saunders may be "injured" rather than actually injured.

I'm hoping for Charlo or Jacobs but both are unlikely.

That may well be the case, Warren tends to be well informed and will probably know more than most about the goings on behind the scenes surrounding the mess that GGG vs Canelo has turned into.

The injury seems on the surface to be very convenient. If it means we get GGG-Saunders, brilliant!

Why is Jacobs unlikely? He has a fight scheduled for a week earlier.

Very good shout indeed as that was the first name that sprung to mind...

Imo it would be a pretty good match up BJS on the way up and GGG on his way down.. Makes for a decent fight

I'd love to see Derevyanchenko step in. Mark it, it'd be FoTY.

Probably Derevyanchenko who is GGG's IBF mandatory.

Golovkin could fight this heavyweight:

Anybody they can match him with is good by me. I just hope he still winds up fighting in May or no later than June at least.

Charlo
Jacobs
or Saunders

would obviously be the best

Demetrius Andrade wouldn't be bad either, and Spike O' Sullivan would make for a fun contest while it lasted.

Why is Ramirez not volunteering? Gained too much weight?

I hope it is Andrade, but I doubt it since he is a southpaw, very skilled, and kind of a high risk fight.
Saunders is hurt, Charlo has a fight scheduled, and think Jacobs does too. Please not Spike.

There are rumors about a possibility of some unknown Mexican JMW with 28(24)-0 record.

This guy? - http://boxrec.com/en/boxer/659924

GGG by early KTFO. I'd prefere to see him beating Alvarez though
