Typical Knobhead "who are you"response to the folk doing the haka at the weigh inn
Pretty symbolic of the absolute louts who follow the high profile boxers.
I enjoyed it, a wee bit different from the usual nonsense you get but the boneheaded pudenda in the crowd obv don't have the emotional intelligence to enjoy it.

Yeah unfortunately that’s what happens when the casuals turn up en masse. Imbeciles.

I'd like to see more of that. Boxers bringing in representation of their heritage. I think it would further the allure of boxing.

They seem a solid bunch Parkers team, especially Kevin Barry who comes across as a genuinely nice fella, they deserve respect.

Most of them never heard of Parker before. They genuinely don't know who he is.

Stuff like this makes me hate British people.
Though I think it's more just I see it when it's us.

I doubt the bevahiour would have been much better if the fight was in NZ.
Parker has some absolutely rabid casual fans who would probably kick off as bad, maybe even a bit fighty too. I remember going to a south Auckland Burger King (his old sponsors) for a presser leading up to Takem, and even that got a bit pushy/shovy in the cheap seats (where I was)

That is white people for you

Why were they doing the haka? Tradition? Come on you don't get a bunch of toffs on horses with dogs chasing a fox across Wembley prior to England games do you?

Who are ya is embarassing.
Still, it’s been rammed down everyone throat about how ‘tradition and background’ are important in this fight. Apparently being Samoan or from that sort of background makes you unbeatable and super tough.
That’s why there’s been so many boxing world champions with that heritage...The land of the ‘who are ya’s’ produces better fighters

I dont see what the big deal is. They have the haka, english yobbos have terrace style chants.
The whole idea that the haka must be respected and revered is a load of old bollocks. Its an old war ritual, as are football chants, well sort of.

I think people are being a bit over-dramatic here, every country has its knobheads and most are a million times worse than ours.

who has the worst knobs?

We're amateurs when it comes to hooliganism, Italy, Russia, Turkey, Greece, Netherlands and Poland are all streets ahead of us, Italian hooligans are absolutely mental and that's not just in football either. Our lot just sing songs and throw a few bottles and mean stares while doing that arms out "fuckin' come on then" stance, Italians throw motorcycles off the higher tiers and murder policemen.

I’ve been pissed on by Germans at a game in Berlin.
What about the Russians at the last Euro’s in France? Poles were just as bad too.
Difference is, if it’s against the English, somehow it’s seen as deserved.
Every nation has its fair share of divs.
The Haka is a load of tosh, but it can be entertaining. It’s been “disrespected” for years, by the Irish National side, apparently by Brian O’Driscoll, the Italians simply ignored it and trotted off to throw a ball about down the other end of the pitch. These and many other instances are widely available to view on YouTube. I’d say the Haka is probably more respected at Twickenham than anyone else too.
Does not sit with the ‘English are the biggest divs’ bollocks though I guess.
Why is it revered so much? Check out what it looked like 30 years ago. Was something like a Morris dance until the all blacks and Adidas decided they wanted to change it and use it as a product.
