although i think he's more powerful than brieidis and stronger inside, can murat spontaneously get off shots and counters like briedis did? murat boxed very well but he still has a bit of a look like hes attacking in a programed and somewhat predictable spot picking way where when he wasnt bursting he was shut down offensively.

if thats the murat we get and usyk boxes more disciplined than he was vs briedis, so more like the glowacki fight, i think usyk will prob win. but if usyks sloppy its gonna be a real tight one.

Usyk UD, and I think that it can be an easy fight for Usyk , if he will box, as with Glowacki. Usyk has faster feet, he smarty as boxer and Gassiev, I think, he hasn't reached his peak yet . And he will probably be a monster in CW when he is 28-30 years old.

I'd give the edge to Usyk on points. He's too technical, smart and active, and durable. Gassiev is very talented, and accurate, and goodness can he punch.

A very intriguing match up of two men in their primes, with a real legacy for the winner.

Whomever wins here has the inside track for fighter of the year.

I think Usyk wins a clear decision and that isn't because I don't rate Gassiev.

excellent point, Briedis seems to throw 'spot-counters' really well, Gassiev will need to bully Usyk backwards to win, but if Usyk gets on the front foto behind that excellent jab and shuts G's offence down with volume it could be a long night, good post.

I want this fight to happen on May 11, but if it will be rescheduled for June/July it will probably be better for both fighters. Gassiev will get more time to shred the weight he gained recently, and Usyk can get help from Lomachenko's father who won't be busy training his son then.
