Parker's height ?
Parker's height ?
6'4" - 193 cm ? I don't think it is true.
Re: Parker's height ?
its not, go check celebheights and they have aj at 6'5.75'. that site they super scrutinze ppls heights and use all sorts of charts and comparisons, etc. and the guy who runs it and has his own height exactly measured has a pic standing right next to aj, so i trust that ajs listings about right
and then look at parker in all the pics from weigh ins and press conferences etc, the top of his head barely reaches ajs eye level, there at least 3 inches minimum in it id say
remember, height inflation is the norm in sports, entertainment, etc. probably every day life too. its easy to just say your taller then you are.

Re: Parker's height ?
I'd say he's about 6'2", he's never 6'4"
Re: Parker's height ?
AJ is wearing shoes with inserts to make him a couple of inches taller.
Klitschko did the same thing pre fight when he was fighting Fury.

Re: Parker's height ?
ya, id say maybe around 6'2.5'
when ppl look at listings and say 'so and so is (listed height)"' they need to keep in mind how rampant height inflation is all sports and also entertainment
i talked about this case yesterday, but go look at erkan teper. listed here as a 6'5 but in weigh in pictures and the fight clearly about the same height christain hammer, who is listed as 3 inches shorter.
and david benavidez for the first gavril fight was listed as the shorter man despite clearly being taller. funny enough gavril was listed 6'2 for the first fight and then 5'11 for the rematch! maybe showtime saw the measurements were clearly bs the first time and actually decided to measure him.
etc etc.
its just as bad in other sports and in entertainment. nba players get there heights inflated like wwe wrestlers. starting even at the pre-university level all sorts of athletes have there height inflated so it looks better to college recruiters. and if your an actor or singer your 'official height' is to take your actual height and add an inch or two

Re: Parker's height ?
He is definitely taller than 6'2''. I know, Botha probably is shorter than 6'2'' which he is listed, and Parker looked much taller comparing to Botha. I think Botha is closer to 6'1'' and Parker is closer to 6'3'' in reality.
Re: Parker's height ?
it wouldnt surprise me if he was really 6'2.75
as i said, celebheights has aj at 6'5.75' and joe looks at least 3 inches shorter

Teper's height listing is beyond afwul. If you add 3 inches to Holyfield's height it would be the same as Lewis'.jamamb wrote: ↑30 Mar 2018, 19:24 ya, id say maybe around 6'2.5'

Re: Parker's height ?
ya, erk really went all out with that fib lol
also i looked up pictures and parker seems pretty much the exact same height as bellew. bellew was listed at 6'2.5 most of his career and is that on celebheights, although in the last few years when he moved to cruiser his 'official' listing went to 6'3

Re: Parker's height ?
exactly
funny thing is ive actually seen fights like that where the commentary continued to act like the one guy had a height advantage, simply because thats what it was in the listings

Re: Parker's height ?
He looks 3" shorter than 6'6" Joshua and barely an inch taller than 6'1.5" Takam - some of that might come down to posture, but I'd be surprised if Parker is any taller than 6'3".
Re: Parker's height ?
I think Parker is 6' 2". No way he's 6' 4". He was a *little* taller than Takam. Joshua is 6' 5", I'd say. I think Klitschko was a little taller than Joshua.

I agree with you, 100 %..................jezzamundo wrote: ↑30 Mar 2018, 22:37 He looks 3" shorter than 6'6" Joshua and barely an inch taller than 6'1.5" Takam - some of that might come down to posture, but I'd be surprised if Parker is any taller than 6'3".
Re: Parker's height ?
I make him 6' 3" .... or maybe a quarter inch more....
He may be wearing flat shoes and eye glasses to make Joshua over confident.... It seems like a good tactic.
He never wears eye glasses... So why is he wearing them and looking so sedate? .... "Joshua looks angry."
