It was called Tommy Morrison vs. Carl Williams, if you missed it.

This is totally irrelevant, well, not exactly, but before Oscar De La Hoya basically bought out The Ring and the much better but now defunct KO Magazine, I really enjoyed what the writers would say about match ups, who they thought would win. Anyway, yeah, Morrison's fights were unpredictable. Tua-Morrison woulda been interesting. I just see Moorer getting whacked out by Tommy, however. Anyway, this has been fun. :geek:

Purple,
One thing we can agree is it will be a fun show :)

Morrison had the skills and smarts to be safe, his win over
Foreman was one of his best in my opinions. He showed
discipline and versatility, even though he was criticised for
the win.

I favour Morrison. Both had been good boxers and could rationally outbox their opponents. Both had chin issues and Moorer's chin looked weaker. While Morrison had another advantage being a bigger puncher. So, I guess, that fight would have had a careful start from both sides, it would have been pretty close until its midpoint, where Morrison would have knocked Moorer out.

Michael Moorer wins in a walk.... He was way too fast and good a boxer for Morrison...

It's a little bit like Mike White's fights with Moorer and Buster Douglas... White knocked Buster Douglas out - who for whatever reason seemed a little guy shy so the fight really amazed me... Douglas was inconsistent as Hell though... Moorer beat the living crap out of White whose defense was lacking and didn't know how to use his height and range... He gave White a clobbering by using superior skill and speed on the big guy.

The unfamiliar threw Morrison off... So the southpaw stance would not work for him... His straight right was the pits.
