My friend had some £40 tickets but inc. other charges it was £55.. i know in a stadium them tickets aren't going to give me the best view.. i turned them down and said i'd rather watch on TV.. what would you have done?

I thought to myself if it was tickets in the £150-£250 range then maybe.. plus I had a long drive down last week to watch Whyte-Browne..

I wouldn't bother unless I was local to Cardiff. The cost of getting there and back and possibly needing to stay over wouldn't be worth it for those seats I don't think

I tend not to buy the very cheap tickets as my eye sight isnt great. I have to wear contacts but for distance they are fantastic. I always like to buy 1st tier if possible.

Saying that it depends on the show. I quite like the atmosphere and combine that with a few pints it makes a great night. If I lived closer to these stadiums and I could only get a cheapo ticket it would suffice if the card was good and the crowd were going to be noisy.

It's about 5 of the lads. They hiring a small minivan (cost of hire) and driving down.. probably there by now, they don't drink so should okay, they'll be driving straight back to Manchester (where we're from) after the fight.

It was all a bit too much time consuming for me as well.. plus I didn't want a turn driving either.

I paid £80 for my tickets, our seats look to be decent from my existing knowledge of the stadium. But will find out in an hour or two! About to get the train into town now and will have a couple of cheeky whisky chasers to wet my whistle before heading in.

Manchester is a good location to live. You're kinda in the middle on Britain. Manchester Arena get big fights. Sheffield is across the Pennines.. Echo arena is an hour drive. B'ham is 3 hours away.. Leeds is an hour away..

I agree with what you said about atmosphere.. but I want to enjoy the fight too..

I live in Cardiff, ha. Just on the outskirts, so only a 10/15 minute journey.

Wow. Jones backed at 1.01 (1/100) on Betfair. It's a wonder he didn't have the experience to take a knee and get a respite, only 20 seconds till the end!

Apologies for the dumb question but is Joshua on 10 o’clock tonight? is that what they’re saying?

My dad is asking, he’s put 20 quid on @ Parker 9/2 and he’ll be listening on the radio later he says...
