Price can def do this

could be the poorest post i've seen on a boxing forum

Ah I'm going to support Price to pull it off.
OBVIOUSLY it is so unlikely but wouldn't it be great?

I think we'd all love it if he could do it.

This is about as close to redemption as Price is ever going to get. I hope he can stink the place out and get his hand raised at the end, somehow.

i'd love nothing more than to see Price come out with a strong jab and then detonate a straight right down Povetkin's pipe, cant really see it though, if he's to have a sniff i'd have thought it would need to be in the 1st 3 rounds, Price will start to gas around about then

Surprised people think Price can somehow last the distance. I give him a small chance in the first two rounds, but that's it.

Stinking the place out would involve going rounds. Price has so little stamina it's shocking, he can't sustain even a moderate pace against anyone. His minuscule chance lies with letting his hands go in the first round, but even if he lands something big, Povetkin has walked through heavy fire before, and Price has faced a couple of guys who managed to get up and beat him after being dropped.
So he hardly even has a puncher's chance. I honestly would be surprised if he gets through round 1 because it will be clear to Povetkin from the first bell that he can back this guy up at will, and glancing shots are enough to hurt Dave. 6/1 is good value for Pov round 1.

I can’t even remember the last time Price threw a strong jab.

if price wins he has to lay povetkin out. price does not box well enough to win on points. he has to hit povetkin clean and put him away, if povetkin gets up before the count ends, then jump on the fornicator and put him away again. i hope price wins, but i simply cant see it.

Wlad couldn’t stop Povetkin despite beasting him all night.

If we have a British ref, with Price’s chinney reputation it will be stopped as soon as ze ruskie lands.

This just puts more and more pressure on Price.

He'll be hyperventilating into a paper bag during his ringwalk at this rate.

To be fair he would be anyway, big ask in front of his biggest ever crowd, be great if he can pull it off, it would really make my day.

I'm hoping Povetkin didn't bother training and turns up with zero hunger and even worse stamina. Price has tit all chance of scoring a KO.

price is some f@cking giant though isnt he, absolutely massively towering over 6'2/6'3 guys and making them look like kids.

maybe thats why his lossess have such a sad look to them, seeing this tower of a man look so hapless vs comparativly tiny men

I can't see Price lasting more than 4 rounds. Povetkin is one of the most skilled heavyweights in the world. He will land on Price early and Price doesn't have a chin.

Price has got nothing more than a punchers chance. Even then his power disappears after a couple of rounds because he's got no stamina.

Tonight Price showed more heart than in his entire career so far. Had it not been the end of the round when he scored a knockdown, he would have won :box:

not sure, hed already dropped 2 opponents only to get stopped a few rounds later, this was the 3rd time

the man has no finishing instinct and gases if he steps it up, id expect him to be stopped anyway tbh

If he shites himself and doesn't commit hes going to sleep.

I like Pricey but think like most of you hes getting iced
In don't think Price could even spell jab! He never throws it! He should be a boss with the jab but doesn't ever use it! I'd like to know if he uses it in sparring! It's fuckin frustrating watching him move around like a scared child and pawing the jab out! He's got a spaghetti chin but he should be performing a lot better than what he does!
Honestly the finding a home for the jab comment was tongue in cheek.

Like you say, its frustrating watching the bloke.
Anyway, I felt bad for him Saturday as probably most of the country did.
Hang um up Dave, not worth it. That was brutal on Saturday
