Norton maybe .... for all the good a hard body did him versus Foreman, Garcia, Cooney, and Shavers.

But not Ali.... Ali was a butterball for Young -- and for many fights where he ran a soft schedule -- such as Jean Pierre Coopman.... Rickard Dunn.... Alfredo Evangelista..... Rudi Lubbers.... Blubber Mathis.... Chuck Wepner..... and Leon Stinks

No power though... Most sinewy guys can rip.

Bradley did barbell curls which are insane for a boxer... You're not trying to peak the biceps. You use dumbbells, kettlebells, pullies, machines, rings, and focus on obliques, lower back, abs, hinge, glutes, and legs. More wrist action and body motion so you can drive a punch... Bradley always looked ripped, but not fearsome.

Norton said in his autobiography that he never lifted weights and that it was all due to good genetics.

Isn't a 'sinewy' body due to just having low body fat and not necessarily a sign of strength? (I am asking, not offering an opinion.)

I dunno But I do remember Chris Byrd looking quite sinewy
when he dropped considerable weight for a come-back fight and was knocked out
(I think he lwas actually mistaken for Chris Rock to many when he came into the ring).

Maybe he was strictly an isometric bodybuiler ?
