Incredible size difference as they faced off at the weigh in, On the face of it you’d think the big man with a ram rod jab, if he actually used it, would make it a nightmare for the russian to get even close to his chin...gilgamesh wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 16:07For some reason I'm kinda thinking Povetkin will come out, and almost let Price survive the 1st round by just kinda pawing at him with jabs, and stuff, and then I expect he bombs him out in the 2nd. Don't know why.Neil Gee wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 16:05Yeh i presume he's next. Tbh I'll be impressed & pleasantly surprised if Price hears the second bell.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 16:00
After Ryan wins a UD in 30 min. Poor Dave I feel sorry for him the nerves are going to be like flying saucers in his stomach at the moment
But yeah he could easily take him out in the 1st if he chooses to. Or so you'd think.

Fantastic for Joshua to have SRL come and visit him before the fight, what a legend.

Price v Povetkin is Bruno v Tyson III.
Get in there David. This time. THIS TIME.

Booth is not doing his fighter any favours with such a dull performance on the big stage here

Sh!t and dull, same as every stadium fight. Every time Joshua appears on the screen it goes mad, but that’s about it. Should liven up soon anyway.freddydoesdallas wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 16:10Hopefully, the next 2 will more than add value to it.
What's the general atmosphere like?

Burnett looks good, he needs the next level I think.
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker - 31 March 2018
Honestly Audley was much more successfull for all he's mocked. He found a level where he could win stuff, and fought there, Price fights club fighters then steps up and gets KOed, terrible management.
I so hope he could pull off the super-upset though and turn it all around.

Last weeks was good. Every undercard fight was KO.. and most were early lol..sweetmagee wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 16:16 Whole bill has been deadly dull so far. Struggling to stay awake.

I can't give Parejo any of these rounds thus far though he's given a game effort.

Looked like his head was in a good place, maybe he thinks well f**k it, Ive got nothing to lose here, I’m gonna go out there and plant one on this geezer’s chin.
Well we can only dream ....
Parker looking very cool as well..
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker - 31 March 2018
Quite...I've actually stopped paying attention to it. There's been little excitement in the undercard so far.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 16:14 Booth is not doing his fighter any favours with such a dull performance on the big stage here

Price knows its the last roll of the dice. Expectations are low so the pressure is off.
God this fight is boring.

I thought price said all the right things but he bit his body language wasn't saying the opposite. Bit his lip at the start, wasn't looking down the camera etc.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 16:22Looked like his head was in a good place, maybe he thinks well f**k it, Ive got nothing to lose here, I’m gonna go out there and plant one on this geezer’s chin.
