Hour to go: Joshua/Parker...last minute comments

Post by oogiebe »

Under an hour to go...we've all thought about this (and posted all over the board), so what are your last comments?

Mine: Parker has one chance: He needs to exploit Joshua's proclivity of dropping his right when he throws the left and leaving himself wide open when he misses his right.

So that's only two parts of a thousand...Joshua by TKO 7th round, with some good exchanges in between.

That Parker will have moments of success...maybe to the body but will stay too long in there and get hit with a hard AJ counter. Maybe a measured pace by both early on.

I think we will see a premature stoppage in the 5th or 6th
First sign of trouble and referee will wave it off.

Brother I don't have faith in anyone in an official capacity in boxing

Parker's chin hasn't really been tested by any true bombers.

The moment of truth is minutes away about how strong that chin really is.

Even if his chin is Chuvalo -esque (not likely though) talent wins out.

Parker will get stopped on his feet. Just like Chuvalo vs Frazier and Foreman.

I was beginning to think that all those endless national anthems was actually the main event.
