I know he had his moments here and no doubt he will have event decent money but unless he calls it a day here I think he’s been badly advised, he’s finished the fight KOd with blood pissing out his face. Doing this over and over is just decreasing the amount of time he’s gonna be alive surely.

Price stunned with a shot and left standing like a zombie then flattened with a big left hook.

Price should have chased him across the ring and try to finish that fight, he was there for a big shot.

That last shot was horrible to watch

That was a sickening KO, gutted for Price the fight looked in his grasp at one point, he looked a lot more composed than usual, still not busy enough with the jab or straight right, recovered well after what looked a heavy knockdown and put Povetkin down in the same round
That KO was bad though, Price just froze after getting hit with a right and left himself wide open for that last left hook,

Difference was almost the absolute cold blooded killer instinct by the Russian...Price too much a nice guy, didn’t go after the Russian
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker - 31 March 2018
That was almost like a cheap shot.

This. I really wanted him to prove us all wrong tonight but he needs to call it a day now. He doesn't seem to react to punches well. Seeing him stunned and levelled up there was horriblejameswilson wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 17:04 I know he had his moments here and no doubt he will have event decent money but unless he calls it a day here I think he’s been badly advised, he’s finished the fight KOd with blood pissing out his face. Price did look like he was sagging just before the stoppage. Poor lad.Fearful_Freddie wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 17:01 Povetkin is knackered but Price's stamina can go at any time. On a knife-edge.
Price didnt know where he was when the left came.
He gave it ago, please, call it a day.

Price should of gone for it in the 3rd, he landed that big left hook and just stood there, as Povotkin wobbled back, there was time to land another couple of punches. Which is just what the russian did to him

Fair play to Price - really good effort and I wonder if Povetkin had gone down, rather than being saved by ropes, whether he'd have made it back up. His legs were gone.

I've got to give Price credit, there's no way I would have predicted him hearing the second bell, let alone the 5th. It just goes to show what you can do when your mind is right.

Whyte wants Povetkin next apparently.

It would have taken just one!Old bones Ian wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 17:07 Price should of gone for it in the 3rd, he landed that big left hook and just stood there, as Povotkin wobbled back, there was time to land another couple of punches. Which is just what the russian did to him
He didn’t even move towards him. Sums up the difference I suppose.

Price should aim to dominate the domestic scene, maybe commonwealth & Euro. Always a good filler at his level with that power.

Shame that the ref wasn't close enough to step in between the two finishing shots, horrible knock out and a lot of blood coming from Price mouth.
I would like to see him retire now.

Adam Smith having no problem repeating that brutal knockout, strange after they shyed away from the Whyte knockout last week.
I expect that was because they felt like complete idiots when they realised HBO showed the knockout replay repeatedly

Absolutely. Cost him dearly. The spiteful Price in his unbeaten days would have waded in.Old bones Ian wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 16:58 why didn't Price move in then??? Foster gave the count as an after thought

Price had all the tools to win. He could have dominated with the jab if hed pumped it out. Its a case of coulda woulda shoulda as usual.
