He'll be ok just got 8 figures for a fight that wasn't that tough.

omg looked like aj mightve won that, better give it evenjameswilson wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 18:49You didn’t give 4 even rounds???lillywhite14 wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 18:45 Parker won 3 rounds. He was too passive.
Ref was poor but Parker looked happy to be split every time it got close too.
Some people here just have an agenda against Joshua imo. Landed more jabs, more power punches and just ticked over doing what he had to. Very disappointed in Parker
Ya mad??
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker - 31 March 2018
I had Parker winning four; Joshua winning 4 clearly; 4 even could've gone either way.

Hearn will be doing some back pedalling now
Giving it all the wilder is just a sh*t talker an all that, can't see him being in a hurry to make that fight after this dull performance
Aj might have won but his big strong bullish knockout man persona is fading fast , and he still looks bamboozled when someone shows him a bit of movement

funny u how some ppl try to rectify other ppls percieved bias by being laughably biased themself
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker - 31 March 2018
Wilder is poo, Ortiz gassed and nearly had him -AJ would blast him out, Fury different style for both

Joshua is a big lump who will take a bit of shifting but a boxer he is not and probably never will be now. He's not any better than the guys he's fighting now, his size is getting him through.
I'd give Wilder a decent chance. He's even clumsier but is faster, long reach and hits hard.
A fit Fury (if there will be such a thing) would completely outclass Joshua. Surely that's not even an argument now.

Maybe. Joshua fought the fight to win tonight. I was relatively very impressed. No silliness, barely out of second gear and got the job done. Bigger things on the horizon
Joshua might jump on him and blast him away
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker - 31 March 2018
The real AJ persona coming out there during the interview. Much better
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker - 31 March 2018
No complaints from Parker...he toughed it out and performed admirably. But the right man won, there's no doubt about that.
And before anyone mentions Tyson Fury, he needs to get back in the ring first.
Oh, and while I'm at it, Andy Scott's an annoying little twat![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

I meant it as a figure of speach, as in British judging is some of the worst in the world.

Nah, I think Parker was itching to unload but feared having points taken for lack of sportsmanship. I didn't give Parker more than 3, but I did have lots of drawn rounds.lillywhite14 wrote: ↑31 Mar 2018, 18:45Ref was poor but Parker looked happy to be split every time it got close too.
I also still believe that Fury's chin could unseat him if he meets Joshua and/or Wilder. His massive reach isn't as much of an advantage against those two, and his right hand isn't nearly as menacing as theirs. He'd be a mile ahead on the cards behind his jab, but for the whole fight...

What happened to AJ's right? It was practically non-existent...hurt? confused?

The Takam fight was supposed to go the distance... it's all beginning to be hype.
Wilder can say he's knocked everyone out, AJ can't..
Parker didn't take much punishment and did show good chin.
I gather some on here might rate him bit better based on that loss.. he showed good attributes..

Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker - 31 March 2018
Clear win for Joshua, had it 8-4 - Parker was quick, but a lot fell short and he was trying a bit too hard not to get hit, which nullified his own offence.
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker - 31 March 2018
I think Joshua was wary of over exerting himself with the right. Parker was an elusive target all night.
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker - 31 March 2018
I dunno, but anyone who moves at a higher level he struggles, even with smaller guys

Johnny Nelson (long "reign" & no unification fights) criticizing Wilder for not being interested in attending the show

I am left feeling unfulfilled.
