Wilder probably better as AJ

Post by asdfjkl »

1 april

Sorry, just had to do it.

Nevertheless, Tyson Fury has a fair chance actually.

Tyson Fury has NO chance... He can barely change his own undies at this point -- just listen to his gravelly voice.

Wilder has faced one good boxer -- who happened to be a fat, middle-aged man on high blood pressure meds... Wilder was in serious trouble and very nearly knocked out... The old timer just couldn't pull the trigger.

Asdfjkl. I wouldn't dream of criticising your English which is generally pretty good, and I couldn't begin to participate in any discussion in another language. I'm just trying to help because I know you use the phrase a lot ...

It should be Wilder is better than Joshua, or Wilder is as good as Joshua, but never Wilder is better as ...

I hope this helps.

What if he meant Wilder is best, THEN Joshua?

Then I'd say he unnecessarily and incorrectly inserted capital letters in the middle of a sentence, and that he was factually incorrect. :D

I've pointed it out on this thread and once before, last year sometime. I don't know of any other pedantic old farts that have cared enough to mention it, but if you're telling me I'm not going to contradict you.

I won't criticize anyone's English on here because i'm probably the worst writer here. But, I agree with the OP in saying that Wilder is AS GOOD or BETTER than AJ at this point in time.

Let's face facts here...If Wilder fought last weekend instead of AJ, I don't think that the fight would have gone to a decision. I think that Wilder gets him out of there. At some point in that slap fight, Wilder would have gone windmill and started going crazy. A scientific fight, Wilder does not want.

With that said though, I think that a Wilder/AJ fight would be amazing right now. Both guys have just enough crazy in them to make it worthwhile. I have Wilder winning that fight but it would be the best fight to make in boxing in my opinion and it would not disappoint.
