im actually not sure on povetkin really. hes mainly at 3 for me because of a solid record over time, and i do think he was very good during his post-wlad ktfo run, but i think now some lower rated but less proven guys may be better and beat him even clearly.

It would be nice to see a prospect or two make a little noise and push some of these guys out of the top ten.jamamb wrote: ↑01 Apr 2018, 12:26 1. josh

Re: What is your Top 10 HW list now?
it is a bit of an older boxer list as povetkin and ortiz and takam are almost 40, pulevs turning 37 this year, and everyone else will be 30+ this year except aj and parker
i suppose hws always older on average but there are some guys there who i dont think have much time left

Funny you mention that. Have you noticed as HW's get bigger, their primes get older?jamamb wrote: ↑01 Apr 2018, 12:37 it is a bit of an older boxer list as povetkin and ortiz and takam are almost 40, pulevs turning 37 this year, and everyone else will be 30+ this year except aj and parker

You mean to get the extra name in? I grew up w/ Ring Mag and they did it that way. Anyway I consider AJ champion.

Re: What is your Top 10 HW list now?
Anthony Joshua
Deontay Wilder
Joseph Parker
Alexander Povetkin
Dillian Whyte
Luis Ortiz
Carlos Takam
Kubrat Pulev
Dominic Breazeale
Jarrell Miller
However, I will say that I think Deontay Wilder would be more problematic for Tyson Fury than AJ would be; yet I do believe AJ would defeat Wilder.

Agreed. Like I've posted before, I cannot wait for the next crop of prospects to make some noise.jamamb wrote: ↑01 Apr 2018, 12:37 it is a bit of an older boxer list as povetkin and ortiz and takam are almost 40, pulevs turning 37 this year, and everyone else will be 30+ this year except aj and parker

Povetkin

Whyte
-----------------
Breazeale
-----------------
Ruiz
Ordering #3-5 was tricky but most of the rest just fell into place. Think Ruiz is a little better than Takam or Kownacki but there really isn't much in it.

I like how you did that. outside of 1 - 3 or 4, today's rating's exercise is like picking what you want to eat in an all-night lavatory.HyacinthusTurnipseed wrote: ↑02 Apr 2018, 13:44 Joshua
