Only because Pulev's not been active, Whyte takes it. Decision.

I think Pulevs game stifles Whyte, same as Chisora, and he out jabs him to a decision...

I'm not nearly 100% on my response. Whyte's getting better, and I'm just not sure where Pulev's game is at right now.

Would be an excellent win for Whyte. Pulev dealt with Chisora much more comfortably. Think there's a chance they try and do Whyte vs Breazeale as a WBC final eliminator instead of this though. Possibly on the undercard of Joshua vs Miller in New York in the summer. That would really leave Pulev scratching around for an opponent. According to the most recent rankings on the IBF website, #5 is Povetkin but he's also #1 with the WBA so may not bother with this. That would leave Pulev looking at #7 and below, the likes of Takam, Dimitrenko, Martin, Kabayel etc. Not even sure if those would get passed as a final eliminator. Pulev could find himself in the wilderness slightly when it comes to getting a title shot.

Me either.
Where is Pulev at these days :maybe:
Dillian Whyte has looked great against Lukie the Robot and The Timid Viking, but what does that say about where he is at too??

Is there a comment there? Pulev hasn't fought much over the last two years, and almost a year since his last fight. That's what I'm saying. Why the wiseass remark?

You got me all wrong.
I genuinely don't know where Pulev is at right now.
I also find it hard to see where Whyte is at in a fight against a top tier (as far as I know) guy after showing a good performance in two fights of lacklustre opponents.

No worries at all mate.
Pulev seems to me, like a guy who has stayed high up in the rankings without doing much at all, for a few years, a lot like Charles Martin.
As for Whyte, I can say he looks fitter the last few times out, but I'm not sure he has improved his boxing because I feel it wasn't tested in his last two outings.

So perhaps their matchup is perfect. All things equal, I'd pick Pulev, but again...looooong layoff.

If nothing happens to Pulev because of his inactivity, he will outbox Whyte.

Easy UD win for Pulev. Would like to see this fight, but can see it heading the same way as Pulev v Chisora.

Looks like Breazeale will be Wilder's next opponent then.

All this talk of Whyte and Breazeale and now it's Pulev. Bit disappointing.

Pulev has been very inactive and should have been removed from rankings some time ago. How has he managed to hang on to his ranking for so long?

pulev hasnt been THAT inactive, never a year or more off, though hes pushing it now

seemed like after beating chis he took it easy and waited to get named mandatory, but when he got that he pulled out

Doesn't mean it's happening.. Is it a risk fight for Whyte seeing as he could become mandatory for WBC... But then he's might be waiting a while as Stiverne in Nov was a mandatory.

Good fight. Hopefully a good undercard as well. Enjoyed the whole Whyte/Browne card to be fair to Matchroom! Not something I usually admit to nowadays...

Good fight. Hard to judge Pulev due to inactivity at a competetive level.
Whyte seems to be improving. Starting to move through the gears when needed a bit now.
I’m edging Whyte in a close Points win.
