Undefeaded WBA flyweight champion Artem Dalakian (16-0,11 KO) will defend his title against mandatory challenger from Tailand Sirichai Thaiyen (50-3, 35 KO). Contract is signed and fight would take place in Kiev on 17/06/2018.
Dalakian won the vacant title in February with an UD win over veteran Brian Viloria. Sirichai Thaiyen in 2013-2014 held interim WBA flyweight champion and lost his "title" to Juan Carlos Reveco by TKO in 5 round. Since that time Thaiyen has won 16 fights including 15 KOs against nonames, so it is interesting how he has become a mandatory challenger.
