Perhaps but Canelo Golovkin will almost surely be a good fight to watch. Floyd v Berto was the sort of stinker you'd possibly miss - wake up and watch maybe or even just check the result and watch it if, by some miracle, it didn't end up a 12 round Floyd decision snoozer.
Agreed. I avoided the berto fight like the bubonic plague. Still haven't seen it.

Cant see any top level fighter taking it at short notice.

Im sorry its off, but its better for the sport that canelo isnt able to fail tests and fight on regardless.

True mate. It would've been a new low for the sport if Canelo was allowed to fight. Hopefully they actually suspend him now.

Strange call - I thought team Canelo were going to get away with it.... why was there such a delay? Its the right call, but I am a bit shocked as I just thought they were going to brush it under the carpet.

I hope he is now stripped of his belts and these can still be all on the line in the 5th.

Glad the fights off.

If they make an example of Canelo the sports biggest star financially, then there’s hope punishing drug cheats becomes more consistent.

No doubt mate. I wouldn't like to be stood in front of a pissed off GGG! Good that Spike gets a pay day though.

O Sullivan couldn't have picked a worse time to take a hiding from GGG.

GGG will be furious about Canelo and we will likely see another Brook style performance where he just comes to give a direct hiding to his opponent.

What are the odds that Alvarez gets suspended for 6 months or something ridiculous?

About as good as Spike. Eubank charging in head first missing with swings and getting destroyed.

He should fight Saunders or Jaccobs, so what if it gets delayed? One of them might have gotten injured then it would have been delayed.

"Dominating" a division without even unifying the belts in a division that's not exactly full of beasts, and instead fighting someone like Spike. GGG is good but his legacy will very puny unless he does more than he has.

He should just take his chance to unify the belts.

Eubank might not have exceeded anyone's expectations vs Groves - but lets not forget he completely battered Spike.

Both are pointless mismatches and equally a waste of time IMO, it doesn't matter which is better when neither are good enough.

To be fair - anyone coming in on a months notice isn't going to stand much of a chance - unless it is someone already preparing another fight.

At least CEJ has a chin, good strength at Middleweight and to be fair GGG isn't the hardest to work out - just blooming strong and hits like a mule. Fully expect GGG to dominate CEJ, but I think it will be quite impressive if he can stop him.
