Tak, works too hard for the more talented but lazier Magee

Hard one to call, looking forward to this one.

I don't think a 3 round blow out of a gunshy and shot Allan Vester gave us much of an idea of how Magee has recovered from his horrific injuries. Plus, over a year now since that return - not ideal preperation. He wasn't very accurate vs Vester, but didn't need to be.

If we were talking the Magee who lost to Hatton or outclassed Vincent, I would have no doubt about the win. The size difference could have played a factor, but Magee is teak tough and think would have completely outbox and flummux Tak (if Jim Rock can cause problems, then what about someone of Magee's calibre).

All will depend on the questions we still have about Magee. If Eamonn is back to his best, then I hope he can look for a geniune world title fight. I think he could beat Urkal now (if he is back to his best) and he could always step back down and get involved there (as all 4 titles might be vacant soon).

Magee's two years down the line from the Urkal fight and has only had one fight since being very badly hurt... that's got to affect him.

Tak does have trouble with boxers but you'll find they're generally of the rangy kind, ie six-footers who move a bit.

Magee is not as tricky as everyone makes out. Defensive yes, but hardly a quicksilver flighty boxer. He tends to work off the ropes and gets lazy and his lifestyle has to catch up with him and I think it will in this fight.

I think Magee is underestimating Tak.

If Magee has recovered from his horrific injuries and is anywhere near back to his best he should box Tak's head off.

Interesting fight though - looking forward to it.

I agree Terry, it all depends on Magee. If he is fit and ready i see him outboxing Takaloo all night.
