Keith Thurman wouldn't be allowed to repeatedly withdraw from bouts without having proved the extent of his numerous injuries.

There is no similarity between the nature of Thurman's title reign and Floyd Mayweather Jr's time at the top.

Your absurd opinion may be due to you either possessing very little knowledge of the sport of boxing or you're simply being needlessly derogatory, by making a facetious comment that is blatantly untrue.

Either way, once again, you're only succeeding in making yourself look bad.

As a fan, i gotta admit i'm a bit disappointed in Thurman.

This could very well be a legit injury, but rumors of him wanting to sign with Top Rank arose around the same time the injury happened.

Add in the fact that recently it became public knowledge that Spence actually cuts alot of weight to make 147.

Seems like Keith is stalling as much as possible so that Spence moves up in weight.

This all points to Thurman wanting to avoid Spence.

That's all a bit of a stretch.
Aside from that, we will have to wait and see if he can retain belts until a mandatory defence can be arranged. It depends how much leeway he is allowed.
Porter is (rightly) making noises about the length of wait, and Thurman talking about fighting lesser opponents coming back. If your the champion, it's nut up or shut up IMO

Shawn Porter says Thurman has disappeared because he can't find a weak enough opponent for his comeback.

Probably. Also I think he's waiting for the Garcia-Porter match to get made. But this long layoff could affect him badly. I wonder if he stays in shape ?
