They made him pay $250,000 extortion money to Mauricio Suleiman's "clean boxing anti doping program", otherwise known as a new boat for Maurice, and of course the cut to the "friends" in Las Vegas.

He was free to not participate in WBC sanctioned fights.x2x wrote: ↑07 Apr 2018, 23:41They made him pay $250,000 extortion money to Mauricio Suleiman's "clean boxing anti doping program", otherwise known as a new boat for Maurice, and of course the cut to the "friends" in Las Vegas.
He was free to pursue wba ibf or wbo championship instead.
But he served his suspension and paid his fine.
He's either guilty or a fucktard

I don't see any way Sasha wins this. We saw how Parker struggled with Joshua's size and Parker is 3" taller and 11 years younger. He has quicker hands and feet but he didn't really trouble AJ. The Vityaz man doesn't enjoy the same speed advantage so he's going to find the task even more formidable.
I see Joshua continuing a safety first style because Povetkin is a big puncher and is a skillful boxer. Povetkin will have to gamble in order to close the range, and he's going to get caught on the way in. If he hurts him AJ will switch out of counter-puncher mode and he'll swarm all over Sasha and get the stoppage.
On the bright side Povetkin gets a fantastic retirement pay out, Joshua gets a great name on his resumé, and God willing we on boxrec finally see an end to the tedious saga of banned substances and whether the Moscow trip was ever really going to happen, talking of which, as I see it AJ might well be headed there for this defence![[icon_neutral.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_neutral.gif)

Can you buy Ostarine over the counter like asparin also? (Povetkin's second dirty test)Kalan wrote: ↑07 Apr 2018, 23:17 You're an idiot.
As I added to the above post... Meldonium in the opinion of MOST scientists in the PED arena is NOT a PED... Meldonium was good to go for over 30 years from EVERYBODY in the PED testing industry... However, Western makers of supplements pushed for Meldonium to be banned by 2016 and they finally got their wish. It was banned because it's not manufactured by a Western country and was an extremely popular supplement used by many thousands of athletes worldwide...
You can buy Meldonium on the Internet of over-the-counter like aspirin... That's how dangerous it is.
I suppose you believe Iraq had WMD's too? You can say Povetkin is totally innocent a million times. It doesn't matter because like Tiny said, he admitted it by paying a fine. Not a $250 fine either. A $250,000 fine. People don't do that when they are innocent. By the way, there are thousands and thousands of guys in prison that are "totally innocent" too. Maybe you should become a lawyer and straighten things out.
Re: poll AJ vs POVETKIN *
I think Povetkin is usuallydescribed as 6' 1" or 6' 2" and Parker usually 6' 4" although I have seen 6' 3". Either way it doesn't affect my expectation for this fight.
Sasha had better hope his backers win the purse bid and that Moscow lies geographically way outside of AJ's comfort zone, so far that it really undermines his ability to perform.

Re: poll AJ vs POVETKIN *
The Povetkin we saw against Price would struggle to last 6 rounds against AJ. Anthony Joshua is obviously working on his defence in prep for the Wilder showdown, so even a lucky
punch from Povetkin is unlikely. That Price fight should be taken as a warning, no one is as stationary as David Price was last Saturday.
If, as many allege, fighters are only able to fight at top levels into their late 30s with the aid of banned substances, then a clean Povetkin would need a miracle to get a Parker-like result.
Now, a peak Povetkin would have been a different matter entirely, but as things are today it's two fighters from 2 different eras.

Pedvetkin would be competitive and lose a wide decision. Povetkin will get TKO'd.

Drug testing is nonsensical for the most part anyway in the first place. Standard drug testing procedures that are currently used in boxing aren't enough to ascertain whether a boxer is truly clean from using any PEDs or not. There are many ways one can consume PEDs. Even gene doping is an option! But gene doping testing doesn't exist. So how do we know if a boxer is using PEDs through gene doping or not? The answer is, we can't for sure!asdfjkl wrote: ↑07 Apr 2018, 19:11Povwtkin is the most tested boxer in the entire world, while American boxers barely ever get tested and never get tested by an independent lab. My personal opinion is no. But his team is smarter and doesn't get caught
So we really don't know if any athlete is truly clean. Since the testing procedures aren't even sufficient enough. So many athletes could potentially get away with doping.
I personally think every elite / top level boxer is doping in one way or another. Thus, I really don't care that they are. If anything, I'd like Povetkin to dope even more, since Anthony Joshua looks like one of the most doped and unnatural boxers today there is. I'd like his opponents to also get an even playing field!

ALL of Povetkin's Wilder tests past.. The Ostarine test came AFTER the WBC EXCUSED Stiverne for positive PED tests.. The WBC fined Stiverne a hefty amount and also made him pay bogus "Clean Boxing Program" fees, but excused his PED tests as "inadvertent usage" and allowed the Povetkin fight to go on as scheduled... Then 24-hours before the fight VADA came up with 1/10th of a nanogram of Ostarine for Povetkin... Many thought the timing was highly suspicious and the concentration ridiculously small... They believe it was done to do maximum damage to the promotion again and prevent a substitute boxer to come in on short notice... Duhaupas was in heavy training and they're lucky they got him to fly in.asdfjkl wrote: ↑08 Apr 2018, 20:08Yes, you can buy it over the counter, everybody uses it lol.Badhusker wrote: ↑08 Apr 2018, 09:11Can you buy Ostarine over the counter like asparin also? The WBC removed their minimum concentration for Ostarine... But all PED professionals will tell you that's an amount so infinitesimal it could only be from contamination. There is no way using the recommended dose of Ostarine in the last year could produce a reading of 1/10th of a nanogram. VADA also accused foreign boxers Lucien Bute and Lucas Browne of using Ostarine and they both said they never even heard of the drug.
Povetkin was tested by other PED labs at the same time... NONE of them found any Ostarine.

Re: poll AJ vs POVETKIN *
Oh, it was far worse than that, fact that they allowed Stiverne to fight while they knew for 100% sure he would have illegal trash in his body during the fight is sickening. Somehow the behaviour of the WBC was so obviously odd, that Duhaupas (the WBC rank 3 at the time, made that to act like he was somebody decent) already received a contract from Povetkin his team and was already flied in. Everybody saw from a mile away that Stiverne wasn't in shape at all and wasn't planning to fight at all. On top of all this, the ostarine was found at a moment and couldn't be founded any more no time later, that the cycle would only have made Povetkin weaker during the actual fight. Somehow Stiverne went away straight away, I wouldn't even be surprised if he already booked the tickets for the way back before the fight was scheduled long before Povetkin was caught.Kalan wrote: ↑08 Apr 2018, 23:19ALL of Povetkin's Wilder tests past.. TBH, if I was a boxer, I wouldn't fight Wilder before he dropped that belt, I wouldn't appriciate any connection with the WBC at all.

What a joke of a fight this Povetkin got flogged year's ago by Wlad its a low fight that the Russian can never ever win not even 10 year's ago would this be competitive AJ wins by KO as soon as he breaths on the washed up way past his best Russian.
Re: poll AJ vs POVETKIN *
povetkins still easily top 5 or 6 and hasnt lost since the wlad fight 4 years ago, in that time he beat takam (parkers best win), duhaupas, wach, perez hammer, charr, rudenko, and price, about as good a resume as almost anyone has in the same period, and lots of ktfos, even of some guys wilder and aj couldnt clean ko
its not a joke fight at all, obvious from your posts that your sore about anything aj does or might do. povetkin easily rates above anyone parker, pulev, or ortiz beat for example. hed easily be a top 2 opponent for wilder as well
just another whiney pants who moans about everything aj related, its really taken off here lately

What choice does AJ have besides fight or be stripped? Team Joshua insists they want to be undisputed champion. So it's either fight Povetkin or ask for an exemption to unify with Wilder. Either fight and the fans win
