Yoka has a shot, but we need to see him elevate the competition. I'm not familiar with the other fighters. I'll be back to learn from the others!!!! I would like to see HW Kadje try to move down to CW. That would be interesting.

Tough gig as it’s not a big sport in France .
Seen a bit of Yoka, some decent HWs of his age and experience knocking about in pros . Looks million miles behind AJ who’s only 2 years (?) older

Joyce and him were nip and tuck in amateurs

-Tony Yoka, heavyweight (4-0, 3KO)
- Souleyman Cissokho, super welterweight (6-0, 5 KO)
-Christain Mbilli, middleweight, (8-0, 8 KO)
- Louis Toutin, super middleweight, (10-0, 9 KO)
- Arsen Goulamirian, cruiserweight (23-0, 15 KO)
- Nordine Oubaali, bantamweight, (14-0, 11 KO)
Great topic!! I like threads about prospects. Here's my list of likely world champs with the % chance that I give them:

Mbilli 40%
Yoka 30%
Oubaali 25%
Cissokho 20%
* Goulamirian 33% (Gave him high % because he is already WBA Interim Champ & only needs 1 win to become a world champ)
Toutin 5%

Ive seen them only in amateurs, but Mbilli is very good to watch. I like Matthieu Bauderlique too, but according to boxrec he was KOd in 1 round in some fight

I'm not familiar with most of these fighters honestly, but I watched Goulamirian's victory over Merhy a few weeks back. I had never seen much of either of them going in, but from the brief footage I saw I thought Goulamirian had a busier style and would be able to outwork him on points. He stopped him late though in a good, competitive fight.

To be honest though. From here to gain a World Title Goulamirian would have to be facing Lebedev, Breidis, Usyk Dorticos, Gassiev or somebody of that ilk to win a World Title. The division is swimming with sharks, and I just don't see Goulamirian being on that level.

I haven't got a chance to see Tony Yoka perform yet as a Pro. I'm sure his fights are on Youtube, I may check out one or two of 'em by the end of the day just to get a look at him. Maybe these other prospects too.

I did see Yoka in the Olympics, and he wasn't overly impressive there I didn't think.

5% for Toutin?? You're high. Toutin is France's best prospect. He's going to be top 30 by the time he's 21, top 15 by the time he's 22, and a titlist by the time he's 24.

Thanks for the heads up on Toutin. After looking into his background a little more I realize I WAS underrating him. I often do that with prospects who turn pro while they're still fighting at the Youth level (18 & below).

I jacked Toutin up to 35% accordingly, but I still favor Mbilli at this point. Not only did Mbilli make amateur impact above the Youth level, but I think his 2 best pro wins in Canada are better than Toutin's 2 best wins. Sure, Toutin won the "French light heavy" title last year by KOing Kasperski, but Kasperski has basically become a gatekeeper at 175 and was only "national champ" by virtue of beating a total scrub. Toutin was Kas' first title defense & Louis blew right through him:

The Mexican trialhorse Jesus Gurrola that Mbilli demolished in his last bout is FAR BETTER than anyone Toutin has fought so far:

Thanks again for the heads-up on Toutin!! :TU:

toutin looks like an explosive powerful puncher, although he sticks his chin up and i got a bit of a wild vibe from his punches

mbili looks a bit smoother a boxer,

a lot of qualities its hard to see until they step up, from watching that id say they both should have an eye on them though

Yeah, Toutin needs more work on his defense and polish on his overall skills. I think that comes from jumping to the pros at age 18. Mbilli had more time to hone his skills in the unpaid ranks. They are only about 6-7 pounds apart so they could end up facing each other in the pros.
