Usually you match up your whole stable for the week.
As long as an un-managed fighter has no fight set up, that fight gets made. If the opponent you are trying to get is managed, you have to set that up with the other manager.

by the way, Joseph Parker is also not in the game so I needed to bring in a replacement for Larry Holmes.

for future reference If a guy started his pro career in 2012 or after, they will most likely not be available in the game.
