Choose 3 fighters from the pool (2 Middles, 1 Light Middle) which haven't been recruited yet and then PM Crease or myself with your selections, once you have done that we can help you get started.karlhandley wrote:I came across this by accident, but very intrigued about the game - how do we play etc?

Can I jump in mid season? I have a steady internet connection now. I was without for 8 months because of where I was living so I couldn't play

Sure man, I have no problem with it. You have to select an unmanaged MW and Jr. MW. You can also manage a third fighter this season (Either weight class) which everyone has so far this season.BoxBully wrote:Can I jump in mid season? I have a steady internet connection now. How is it decided which fights are 10 rounds and which are 12?
Week 1 seemed a bit random

10 rounders are against CPU opponents,WestEndRiot wrote: ↑19 Apr 2018, 07:33 How is it decided which fights are 10 rounds and which are 12?

12 rounders against a Managed fighter,
15 rounders are solely for the World Championship bouts.

Re: Boxrec Sim Introduction (Please read if you are new)
Another question, do we have deadlines for each fight week or is it just run once everyone has matched their fighters?
Re: Boxrec Sim Introduction (Please read if you are new)
Once everyone matched their fighters, for the most part. We aim to do a card a week, but it could fluctuate a few days more or less, depending how fast the card is filled. Plus Fist might have a few things on his plate before he can run the cards. Usually weekly fight cards will have a date on the top of them, usually a week from, giving a hopeful guideline when to have the card completed by. Sometimes a manager disappears because of work, they just forget, etc....and their fighters will be matched with other unmatched guys close to their ranking.WestEndRiot wrote: ↑20 Apr 2018, 12:07 Another question, do we have deadlines for each fight week or is it just run once everyone has matched their fighters?
So your best rough estimate is a fight card per week, usually a week from the matchmaking thread release.

Inmate 1475881 has left out the part about under the table payoffs, deal making of a sordid sort, high interest loans, taking advantage of fighters who spend more than they make......exorbitant gym fees and managment and training fees. Sanctioning fees from multiple belt organizations.......
