Well....
Two different authorities so there is difficulty comparing on a like for like basis, HOWEVER, one definitely took a banned substance and one failed a test at levels which allow plausible deniability.
That said, any ban at all means NSAC are saying they don’t believe Alvarez so 6 months is too lenient.

Well, it seems like they are being lenient due to the possibility and plausibility of his defence, but really I think it should be guilty or not.

That's the thing... their rhetoric is much like "if you get caught taking by mistakes... it's your fault" but in reality it's not happened. Saying that, I don't think that's why it's lenient... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$leejonesjnr wrote: ↑19 Apr 2018, 11:37 Well, it seems like they are being lenient due to the possibility and plausibility of his defence, but really I think it should be guilty or not.
Re: Man like Dillian Whyte...
Povetkin didn't even serve a ban for SARMs, and Teper got hardly anything after getting raided for possesing Clen, Testosterone, Growth Hormone, and Methandrostenolone, supposedly there were more too

He probably should have gotten a small fine or something at most. I don't think DMAA even did a lot, but it was found to be dangerous so was banned.danconnollyeire wrote: ↑20 Apr 2018, 06:03Whyte's error was a genuine mistake but he was naive and should still be punished but it seemed very harsh
In general supplements are a risk not worth taking a lot of the time for athletes. The benefits are pretty questionable, and they can contain dodgy stuff including banned substances (sometimes not listed)
