Do you expect me to watch all his youtube interviews to prove something to you??? Anyway, I don't understand 2/3 of what he is saying in whatever dialect he is using.
No I expect you to admit you were wrong or atleast stop saying rubbish you can't back up.
This is so funny to me. Why the hell does anyone want or expect another to admit their wrong or apologize on a forum?
It's like we are dealing with 3rd graders sometimes.

I've admitted to being wrong numerous times on here and even apologized a few times for being a dick. But I'll be damned if I'm going to do it because some schmuck thinks they deserve it.
It's a boxing forum get over it. We all are wrong sometimes just move on
I'm not even asking him to say he was wrong, I'm asking him to stop spouting the same lie over and over. He could have easilly just let it go when he was wrong, but instead he keeps claiming he is right.
boxing_rocks wrote: 20 Apr 2018, 16:06 I actually originally was hopeful that Saunders fight could be made and that his injury was just a pretext to switch from Murray to Golovkin., but then I was reading news quoting BJS and Warren and realized that it wasn't going to happen. Now I am supposed to dig out some 2-week old interview, because some schmuck wants it? I have better things to do like digging my nose.
In all the time you've been repeating these lies you could have easilly found it. Just search for Saunders, the website, or channel you saw it on and look for it on the right date. It'd be different if it was two years old

What lies? Saunders is known to be hard to negotiate with. He never fought his mandatory Khurtsidze and was demanding huge money for fighting GGG. There is no way the June fight could've been made in a hurry. They said that he wouldn't fight 80 or 90 percent ready, and he was allegedly injured. How could that be June?

Since we're going to get Golovkin vs Vanes and not Golovkin vs Saunders, I'll tell you that Golovkin has opened as a 33-1 favorite.

Interesting in that Golovkin was installed as an even heavier 50-1 choice over Spike O'Sullivan.

And Spike is a true middleweight, something Vanes isn't.

Spike was stopped by relatively light hitting Eubank Jr, while Vanes has never been stopped.

But Eubank is a bigger guy than any of Vanes' opponents.

Who's to say that Eubank wouldn't stop Vanes too?

We really haven't seen Vanes at 160. Maybe if he fought a few quality middles, he might have a stoppage defeat or two on his record.

Question: At 160, who would you favor between Martiroysan and O'Sullivan.

It is that unknown factor which makes Vanes's odds better. We don't know how his power translates to 160, how badly his inactivity affected him, etc. There is also a huge Armenian community in California some of whom will bet on him.

In California, I would pick prime Vanes to beat Spike on cards, but again, we don't know how badly his inactivity affected him.

That's the beauty of boxing. The mystery. The intangibles.

There's no mystery to Golovkin-Martiroysan or Golovkin-O'Sullivan.

But Martiroysan vs Spike would be an entertaining and intriguing matchup.

Maybe that's the fight that should have been made for Cinco de Mayo.

I've just read that Vanes Martirosyan has been elevated to being the WBC's number one contender for their 154lbs title, but the Armenian has managed to gain only one victory (coupled with two losses) within the last 3½ years against an opponent that wasn’t considered world-class.

By the time he steps foot inside the ring against Golovkin, he would have been inactive for almost two years! :o

WTF is Mauricio Sulaiman’s organisation thinking!

Golovkin-Martirosyan: WBC Reveal Special Fight Belt - Photos

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman revealed the blue belt commemorating WBC founder - Mexican President Adolfo Lopez Mateos - which was especially created for the boxing dates of May 5 and September 16 with the motto "Bats'il Ajaw Belt" which means "True Hero" - to be presented to the winners of the headline fights on those dates.

Not going to lie either but the WBC do create some good looking belts.

The Kazakh/Mexican belt for GGG-Canelo was good too.

It’s better looking than that hideously rancid belt called the “Don Adolfo López Mateos”, which the WBC originally wanted to award to the winner of the Canelo-Chávez Jr. bout.

Is this card on tape delay on the west coast?

The release says that the HBO telecast begins at 11 pm Eastern AND Pacific time.

Not possible unless its delayed like a BAD telecast.

Accurate or an error.

HBO doesn't consider the card a strong attraction if it's being shuttled to tape delay in some time zones.

The first time K2 tried to negotiate a bout between GGG and Saunders, according to the Brit, they offered him less than $1.5m… a purse that was less than what Lemieux received and Billy Joe was capable of commanding similar sums against easier foes.

The next time K2 and Warren negotiated terms for a bout between GGG and Saunders, the Brit actually agreed all of the terms and signed the paperwork.

Saunders’ promoter actually had to pay Khurtsidze a six-figure step-aside fee, coupled with having to agree to stage a bout for the Georgian against Tommy Langford for the WBO interim title, in order to get him to agree to step aside to allow Billy Joe to face Gennady Golovkin instead, but the Kazakh ended-up “losing his pen”. GGG flatly-refused to face the Brit, even though he wasn't injured.

Saunders eventually agreed to face Khurtsidze, but the Georgian had to withdraw from the bout due to his criminal activity catching up with him.

Billy Joe recently told Michelle Joy Phelps (via her ‘Behind the Gloves’ YouTube channel) that Warren had reached out to GGG’s representatives to seek an opportunity to face GGG, but were told that Gennady didn’t want to face a southpaw, since the Kazakh preferred to face Martirosyan instead.

You already know all this, but you blatantly lie!
