Disgusting ripoff. Not only home country Puerto Rican favoritism, but Cruz has been getting lots of sympathy from the PC crowd ever since he came out of the closet as a homosexual. There is clearly a growing pro-gay bias in society at large and it has infested much of the sports world as well. Orlando Cruz was just a run-of-the-mill fighter until he made the shrewd career move of coming out as gay about 5 years ago. In his very next fight he got a world title shot against Orlando Salido, who gave him a thorough beatdown and exposed Cruz as an undeserving title challenger. Terry Flanagan likewise exposed Cruz as an unworthy challenger in 2016.

No matchmaker should put a prospect in against this clown, especially in his home country of Puerto Rico. Another Golden Boy Promotions ripoff from the cross-dresser Oscar De La Hoya. Lamont Roach needs to find a new promoter.:

it was a very close fight, some ppl wanna act like roach dominated when he did eff all for much of it. ya, shoulda been a knock down, but thats 1 bad call and on the ref alone, i hardly find this to be some massive robbery with lots of guilty parties

Simple...he's a perv & a dishonest one at that. He even admitted years later that the fishnet photos were NOT photoshopped as he originally claimed.

True about the KD. I thought it was one.
Whatever the outcome, as far as a test for Roach Jr, he failed IMO. He should have been all over an aged smaller, low volume guy like Cruz. Any step up from that level and he will be exposed, big time.
