French Boxing

Post by the patriot »

What's the score with all the small cards in France? Tonight for example 10/11 shows everyone with just 1 or 2 fights on it??
Anyone know the reason for it??

They have a lot of mixed shows, several amateurs bouts with one or two pro bouts.

It is a good question Patriot..........one I've wanted to ask too :salut:

Whenever I want to look up the results on the main site I've been struck by the sheer number of French shows and they always seem to be taking place and every weekend.

It actually takes a while to scroll through the endless French small hall stuff to find the card you want with only the Japanese, Mexicans and of course the Americans putting on as many fights every week.

Small town France seems to love its boxing and I've often been left wondering why they ain't Europe's kingpins and if it is not their national sport

The mixed shows explains a bit, but clearly France loves a fight night.
