You watching a guy against a fighter that doesn't throw punches at him, and thinking you just watched Willie Pep at Heavyweight means you're in no position to critique my Boxing know-how.Lackeos wrote: ↑21 Apr 2018, 19:50 You fools. Fury dominated Wlad way more decisively than Joshua beat an even older Wlad. Fury, when in shape, is vastly superior to Wlad (who is a top 10 all-time heavyweight, and has been regarded as such by a majority of boxing fans since his Pulev win), and is also clearly superior to Joshua (who might also be a top 30 all-time heavyweight). Linking to some random fluke that happened when he was 20 as your attempt to dispute that fact just makes your boxing analytical skills look like amateur hour. You'd think someone insulted your mother or something. Chilax!Lackeos wrote: ↑21 Apr 2018, 19:50 You fools. Fury dominated Wlad way more decisively than Joshua beat an even older Wlad. If you swapped out Wlad for most other great heavyweights, they also wouldn't have been throwing / connecting with many punches, and you'd be like "Well if everybody refuses to throw punches at Fury, then there's no way I can credit Fury for their drop in output. Why isn't Larry Holmes throwing any punches? I don't know, I guess he's just depressed today."gilgamesh wrote: ↑21 Apr 2018, 19:52You watching a guy against a fighter that doesn't throw punches at him, and thinking you just watched Willie Pep at Heavyweight means you're in no position to critique my Boxing know-how.Lackeos wrote: ↑21 Apr 2018, 19:50 You fools. My Boxing knowledge after all these years speaks for itself.
Let me just see him do it one more time in the here and now, and I'll take back my criticism of him. My bet is that Wilder or AJ is gonna flatten him, and destroy this aura that you guys have created around him based on not much.Lackeos wrote: ↑21 Apr 2018, 20:07If you swapped out Wlad for most other great heavyweights, they also wouldn't have been throwing / connecting with many punches, and you'd be like "Well if everybody refuses to throw punches at Fury, then there's no way I can credit Fury for their drop in output. You are high. I get that you’re probably Irish and he’s your hero but you’ve got to be kidding. Dominated? A winner should have never even been declared in that pathetic bout. Wilder with one of his windmill bum rushes will knock that Mick into the cheap seats. And newsflash, the Wlad that Fury “beat” was not even remotely close to the Wlad that AJ beat. Wlad had revived himself for one last one and was twice the boxer that showed up against your boy. Two different guysLackeos wrote: ↑21 Apr 2018, 19:50 You fools. Did you see Tubbs vs Page?
Unfortunately not because I had plans of sitting in the corner of my bedroom flicking a light switch on and off without any clothes while humming show tunes but I just couldn't cancel. But if you are saying that Tubbs/Page was worse than Fury/Wlad, I will invest time to see how wrong you are. I just saw a picture of the two and there was a still picture of a right hand landing so I already know that it's better than Fury/Wlad because one of those didn't land all night. Get a hold of your selfish, Senor. The fight was statistically the worst title fight in history from the punch stats alone and those stats told a perfect story of how the fight actually went.
Wlad is top 10 all-time since his win over Pulev? Pulev is tough. But basically a crude limited fighter who made a name by making Wlad look bad. Hes not a guy you beat to get the status of great. Fury beating a washed up old alleged ATG who beat nobody, makes him great or better than prime Wlad how?Lackeos wrote: ↑21 Apr 2018, 19:50 You fools.
