Me too, that was one of the closest fights I've ever seen. Glad that both fighters (Broner a bit more grudgingly of course) accepted the result.

Well he said he won it 7-5, and that's as close as an admission as you're going to get from Adrien Broner.

Naturally enough he was suspicious of Mayweather Promotions having an influence!

so he thought he won , went on a profanity laced rant, and claims that corruption was involved in the draw

not sure thats accepting it, but okay

Draw is a good option. It was a very close fight, maybe a bit more oriented in Vargas' favour, but still both of them didn't try enough to pull a victory, so draw is fine.

It was very a close fight, wouldn’t have argued with either guy getting 115-113, but a draw is definitely a fair result.

   at the 9-3 Broner score on here

I guess it's a case of the old adage, 'we sometimes only see what we want to see'.
All adults are prone to this as recent research discovered that our eyes only account for about 20% of what we see, the rest is predetermined by the brain. Hence we need judges with brains predetermined to judge all fights in an acceptably neutral manner.

hes just one of those guys who likesbeing different to get attention
Too many of them. I could accept a draw. But not how I saw it. 9-3 is absurd.
You don't know wtf you are watching. I dislike Broner as much as the next guy but he gave Vargas a lesson. Faster hands. More effective punches. What did Varhas do? Demonstrate ineffective aggression? Gtfo.

I had it 114-114. Can see either man by a point. Vargas dropped off in the middle rounds. Broner showed that he was the more talented fighter when he let his hands go, but as usual he didn't do it enough. Frustrating to watch because he doesn't look tired, he just fights with very little urgency.

That really is a perfect assessment. I had Vargas by a point or two, but all throughout the second half of the fight, Broner looked like he just didn't want to turn it on any more than necessary in his mind. He is so very frustrating.

I lack knowledge of bad scoring. I bet you're from the same school of boxing scoring that gave Horn the fight over Pacquiao. Vargas landed nothing of any effect what-so-ever, the rounds i gave him he utilized the jab somewhat and his longer reach but for the majority of the fight he didn't cut the distance well enough and got caught relentless with fast, accurate, sharp left hooks and Mayweatheresque pull-back straight rights for fun, while landing only ineffectual body shots of his own. This fight wasn't close.

And you call me a child? At least i put the integrity of scoring a boxing bout ahead of my dislike for 1 of the participants.

Why do you insist on cluttering the board with your antics? I can get quite nasty if you prefer.
