He's a 6'6" Heavyweight who won Bronze at the 2015 World Championships and was a Quarterfinalist at the 2016 Rio Games.

Jalolov is the FIFTH member of the 2016 Uzbek Olympic Team to turn pro so far, 4 of them medalists. All 5 of them are based in the US and have fought all their pro bouts in the States so far.

Over 200 amateur fights in Russia it seems, but the record is hard to find. He arrived in Canada and started his pro career in late 2017, he is a friend of Artur Berterbiev.

He has a lot to learn still, but he is big 6'5" and strong. People will hear about him next year when he starts fighting better opponents

You nailed it amigo. Bob Arum/Top Rank is an EXPERT at milking controversies to make $$$, so I'm sure he'll do his best to make Conlan-Nikitin happen somewhere down the road, especially if both make impact as top-notch pros!!
