Postol was supposed to fight for the Interim belt, so it makes sense having him fight a final eliminator.. Against Taylor? Not 100% sure. Will be a tough fight for Taylor..

Taylor should be able to box Postol.

Excellent fight for Taylor. Pity it clashes with the BJS card but I'll be watching Taylor. Might try and get over to it actually.

Postol is at the end of his career and if Taylor managed another stoppage it would send out a big message. Postol is tall and lanky and Taylor's bodywork is as good as I've seen from a British fighter in a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if he wore him down and got the stoppage :bag:

Hopefully it doesn't clash as much.. Frank made such a big deal about Khan-Lo Greco being on the same date as Frampton-Donaire. Frampton was fighting in Belfast, what are they like an hour behind. Khan's fight finished before Tete's fight even finished. lol Frank must have felt like an arse.. Complaint box. But yeh, this will likely clash.

Surprised at this one. I think it might be too big a step too quickly for Taylor. Postol only lost to Crawford.

Believe in your fellow Scot Rick! Taylor is gonna light this Ukranian bitch up :bag:

In all seriousness I know what you're saying. Postol is tough and technically very good but he's 34 now and was dropped last time out against a relative novice. I fancy Taylor to make a statement and get the stoppage. You gonna go?

Most folk have digi tv now anyway so shouldn't cause too much of a problem. If I don't go to it I'll probably set the BN card to record from when the Taylor card starts and just watch it straight after Taylor. Just depends what the undercards are like.

I had heard the other day that he was fighting Kiryl Relikh so I was surprised at this being announced. Good fight though. The McGuigans seem to be getting Josh the right fights at the right time so far.

Great fight for Taylor. I think he beats Postol quite comfortably.

I’ve never been sold on Postol. Gets undeserved credit for the Matthysse fight. IMO Matthysse swallowed it.

The way they have matched Taylor in his career has been top drawer.

Tbf I've not seen Postol fight since the Crawford fight. If he's only faught once since and was down then maybe he's regressed somewhat from his previous 2 big time fights. I might go actually, i think Taylor is the best fighter to come out of Scotland in a long time, i rate him higher than i ever rated Burns. A stoppage over Postol really cements his world title ambitions.

id think it would be a roughing up more then an outboxing. i think the timing for this is really good for taylor. postols faded and was in big trouble WV last time vs a guy worse then taylor.

Yeh. Also Postol isn't faded to the point where a win for Taylor wouldn't do much.

Tayler beating Postol > Kelly beating Molina.

I haven't seen Postol's last fight so on paper this looks like a really tough test for Taylor. If Matthysse and Crawford didn't stop Postol then I don't expect Taylor to, but if he gets to work early and pushes a pace that the 34 year old is uncomfortable with then he could take over in the second half of the fight for a points win.

If he wins this then he's got to be looking at a world title shot this year. Saw rumours of the next WBSS being at 140, would love to see him involved in that.

Wow ! Taylor's rise is unreal. McGuigan and Taylor ooze confidence in his ability.

Beat Postol and he's not only booked a shot at a world title, he'll have earned it and know he's ready.

I'm struggling to think of a British fighter who has risen in such a way and excited me so much about his career.

Seems like only yesterday I thought that fighting Dave Ryan might be a step too far too soon for Taylor.

Now he is scheduled to fight Victor Postol and I genuinely expect him to win, and win in good fashion.

Try and go see it mate :TU:
I regret not seeing Parker Takem, not thinking it would be the last fight in my country while he was on a winning record. I think if Josh wins, he might be headed stateside for further steps up the ladder.

I'd like a poll too. Cripes it's a tough one to call and I missed Posthole's last fight. So I'm behind the 8 ball on this, and am looking to others opinions on how it will go. Shock announcement, who knew?

I edge toward Josh with him being the younger and fresher of the 2...
