As Josh gets to face the boxrec #3, O'Hara Davis is lined up against Christopher Sebire #143 in the world :OhYes:
How the divide widens.
It is an admirable and somewhat meteoric rise for Taylor

Got my tickets for this today. Few of my mates are coming as well. Doubt they'll come to Newcastle now though if they're coming to this!

Few of em have already agreed to Windsor Park in August though :TU:

Great fight i think Taylor will win by stoppage but will have problems early on and start taking over around halfway. Confidence being shown by Barry by making this fight :bag:

Agree. It's good to see a prospect getting stuck in! I think Taylor beats Postol in every department but I'm a Taylor fan boy

I hope your right mate and he makes easy work of him. Scotland will have a massive star on their hands if he keeps going the way he has

We need it mate! Burns has been on the slide since he beat Mitchel years ago. Scotland is class when we have a good fighter to get behind.

Postol is at the end of his career and if Taylor managed another stoppage it would send out a big message. Postol is tall and lanky and Taylor's bodywork is as good as I've seen from a British fighter in a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if he wore him down and got the stoppage :bag:
Hopefully it doesn't clash as much.. Frank made such a big deal about Khan-Lo Greco being on the same date as Frampton-Donaire. Frampton was fighting in Belfast, what are they like an hour behind. Khan's fight finished before Tete's fight even finished. lol Frank must have felt like an arse.. Complaint box. But yeh, this will likely clash.
There’s no time difference between Liverpool and Belfast

can't remember anyone from the uk being moved on this quick in recent times. massive step up in class even if postol is on the slide. josh well on the way to super stardom if he keeps it altogether. great for scottish boxing overall.

There was only a few months between David Price rumbling with Matt Skelton and getting KOd by Tiger Tony. Was also around his 14th fight i think. I'm sure Taylor will fare better than Pricey though.

Well, it's getting closer. Seeing the two side by side, Taylor is the bigger man for sure. If Crawford couldn't stop Postol, then Josh needs to really pull something special out to win.
In recent interviews Taylor is supremely confident, though he does admit that Postol is way more experienced as a pro and Am.
I'm personally not feeling as confident Taylor can do this as I was when it was announced.
If he does manage to beat Postol, it will be a better win than any of the belt holders have now that Crawford is gone.
Nervous

I would like a snapshot of how others feel about it too. I'm not good at picking winners, and I'm a bit biased when it comes to Josh Taylor.

Why don’t we just pick a random old thread which is totally unrelated to this fight, bump it, add a poll and change the title?

You know, for old times sake.

I'm going for Taylor on points but I expect there to be some pretty testing moments for him , particularly in the earlier rounds.
