Cooper just quit after round 2.

I remember that one. It was on either USA or ESPN. This was a big fight for those networks. Cooper claimed that his ears were ringing. It really seemed like a letdown.

Another high profile quit was George Chuvalo versus Joe Frazier...

Chuvalo was known to be a tough man, but he took a punch to his eye that really hurt him... He turned his back on Frazier and flat out quit... If that were Golota... Bobick... Ruiz... Valuev... or any number of fighters who fans and writers loved to disrespect, he would have been ridiculed for quitting in that manner... With Chuvalo it was no big deal.
