The BBBoC title is a well-known domestic British title, and is one of the most (only) respected national titles in boxing.

Given that Sexton beat Cornish for the vacant BBBoC title, I'm sure he's got the British public's attention. Fury vs Sexton in England for the title will probably make good money. It is also a decent scalp for Fury, given that his resume of wins is pretty shallow, i.e. it is mainly just Rudenko.

Good comeback fight for Hughie. Will be interesting to see what route he takes after this fight.

The 23 year old Hughie Fury has all the physical tools and the skills to eventually become one of the top dogs of the heavyweight division.

He was unfortunate to lose against Joseph Parker and he probably learned a lot from that fight, such as being more assertive by throwing more venomous shots rather than simply connecting.

If the Brit can address his health issues and make a few small changes to his fighting style, then I think he’ll improve enough to eventually be granted another world title opportunity within the next two years or so... and be considered a serious threat to whomever holds those belts.

He does need to become more active though, because he’s only engaged in two fights over the last couple of years. A fighter that young needs to compete every few months in order to learn, improve and build his own reputation.

When Fury makes his comeback in a couple of weeks’ time, he’ll be facing an opponent carrying a prestigious domestic title that hasn’t tasted defeat in almost six years, which is an excellent winnable fight for Hughie to take at this stage of his career.
