Nigel Benn

Post by Stuarty »

Was over the moon for one of my good mates earlier! He got to meet his hero! Nigel Benn! He's got Benn Tattooed on one calf and Euabank on the other   Got a pic with the man and also a wee pic with the calves  My mate who was there was a top class amateur up here but he also turned pro and ended up 7-0 after a few years and a few kicks in the sacks like!

He wasn't happy at the way his old trainer conducted the shindig but at the same time he was understanding about it. Just pure money! Trying to rinse as much out of it as possible!

Was it like a meet and greet? Or like 'an evening with (person)'?

Nigel is very good at these type of things. Nothing is too much trouble for him.

Yeah mate. Dinner type show. He also went to the gym during the day and showed everyone some bits and pieces. They charged a tenner to get in to the gym

Khan has 'an evening with..' event coming soon. A number of them. 3 course meal. % of ticket sales going to charity.

He has done quite a lot in the past. But I assume he has done one now because he has recently fought and fresh on people's minds.

I can't imagine anything less tantalising than the prospect of walking charismectomy Khan regaling people with his witty repartee.

I con. Imagine an evening with Bellew listening to his whining shite . Think I`d rather suffer a long haul flight in economy sat between Terry Flannagan and Samuel Peter
