Thomas Hearns vs. Julian Jackson at 154.

Hard punchers with shaky chins. The definition of a don't blink fight. I think Hearns would win most of the time, but Jackson could land first and get the KO.

Hearns was definitely a much better boxer, but, yes, Jackson would have knocked him out cold, if he landed. Still Hearns was more likely to outclass Jackson and provide a KO eventually.

In this fight in my view is, whoever hits hard first, is going to win by knockout. I believe that Julian Jackson was the harder puncher, but The Hitman was the better boxer. The Hawk to me is the hardest puncher pound per pound of all time that I have ever seen. Boy, can he hit!

I've always said Jackson is the hardest one punch ko artist that's ever lived, however Hearns was a very good boxer, tough one to pick,it's one of those where if they fought a few times each would get a couple of wins.

One thing's for sure, don't get up to get a beer. This can end at any second. Hearns is the better fighter, but Jackson can wipe him out in an instant. I would tentatively pick Hearns.

What a frighteningly good matchup ! Anyone could win this one but if I had to bet the house on it I would go for Hearns within 3 on the edge of your seat rounds.

Hearns simply a better fighter and that's what counts.

Neither had a great chin, but Jackson's was even shakier.

Hearns had too many physical advantages and a big edge in speed.

This could be like Hearns vs Shuler. Over before it begins.

Hearns connects quickly with that big flashing right and Jackson is out in a minute.

While Jackson certainly has the power to knock out Hearns should he land his bomb, I think Hearns is the significantly better boxer, and his bomb gets there first 9 times out of 10.
