Haye v whyte
Stories online about how whyte hates haye...
This for me means that matchroom know haye could spark bellew out early and now we have our summer blockbuster..
Whyte will fight anybody and haye would fight whyte for his rankings and the cash

Re: Haye v whyte
Certainly seems like a Matchroom storyline.
Another couple of million for Haye at least, in a fight that doesn’t bring too much risk. Not saying he will win because he’s clearly shot, but Whyte won’t pose the danger of someone like Joshua or Wilder for example.
Gettting tiresome, all this needle and bullshite storylines, but they’ve stumbled on a tried and tested formula and it’s not going away soon.

Re: Haye v whyte
They can schedule it, but you just know that Haye is gonna sprain his vagina before it comes off.
Hopefully Bellew just beats him again, and puts an end to that injury prone p*ssy as a fighter of any sort of relevance.

Re: Haye v whyte
Shouldn't be a PPV.
Browne averaged 195k viewers on SPME
Okolie-Chamberlain averaged 180k on the same channel.
This sell would be strictly Haye.
We all know how Whyte turns all his fights into a grudge fignt.

Re: Haye v whyte
If Haye beats Bellew won't they want to chuck him straight in with Joshua?
I don't see why they'd want to risk one of the biggest available fights for Joshua when he can fight both of them.
If Haye loses to Joshua then he can fight Whyte afterwards.

How can a moderator on a boxing forum be such a clueless cuunt as to refer to a man who was once a bona fide world champion as a pussy.
If anybody with any authority on this forum sees his comment you should ensure that this pitiful keyboard warrior is banished from here.
Re: Haye v whyte
I think that's a bit much. If another moderator saw them and acted the way you want, you'd both be outta here. Adult language is not banned.
Re: Haye v whyte
Me too for that matter...F%CK SH#T Ku%t...LMAO!
Re: Haye v whyte
I figured. I'm not going to walk on eggshells with PC like language here. I'd rather leave. And...it's always the hypocrites b$tch and whine. Thanks' for the head's up. NO need to waste my time. Rock on bro!

I'm a Mod, but I'm a Boxing fan first and foremost, and Fans tend to have their favorites, and their fighters that they dislike. David Haye is a fighter I dislike. If somebody would take issue with me expression my opinion I wouldn't care to be a member of the forum anyway.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑02 May 2018, 16:47How can a moderator on a boxing forum be such a clueless cuunt as to refer to a man who was once a bona fide world champion as a pussy.

I don't expect that to be the case.
I assume you're a David Haye fan. Which is fine. I'm not.
If you insulted a fighter I was a big fan of I wouldn't be calling for your expulsion.

There’s a big difference between disliking a fighter and pointing out flaws you think they have and dishing out baseless gratuitous abuse. Ive criticized fighters often and maybe my comments were ludicrous to some as I’m no expert but the inherent respect for a fighter’s courage we all have as fight fans should always be there even if its unspoken.gilgamesh wrote: ↑02 May 2018, 17:44I'm a Mod, but I'm a Boxing fan first and foremost, and Fans tend to have their favorites, and their fighters that they dislike. Yes i’m a haye fan but if you were to criticize him for toegate or some of the lamentable opponents he’s chosen or some of the shit he talks or his performance last time out, or his training methods or his dedication to the sport i might or might not disagree with you but thats the fun of a forum, if we all agreed it’d be boring as fornicate.
But referring to any boxer, and particularly a once world class fighter who has showed his courage in the ring time after time , as a pussy is beyond the pale.
He’s a brave guy not a pussy and your comment does a real disservice to boxrec. Such drivel coming from a casual would just wash over me but i think most people would expect a moderator on a serious boxing forum to display a bit more knowledge and a bit more respect.

I agree with Spacerod in regards to boxing fans calling boxers cowards or pussies. It's pathetic.
But Spacerod is a bit of a tit so I hate agreeing with him
Re: Haye v whyte
I guess
For what it's worth I often would rather watch a David Haye fight than someone I feel indifferent too because when you feel strongly about a fighter...either liking them or disliking them. It's always more fun than if you don't feel one way or the other about them. So watching Haye and rooting for him to lose is funner to me than a lot of fights.
I just take issue with the fact that Haye has talked up, promoted, and then backed out of SO MANY fights over the years that he's rubbed me the wrong way, and I don't like him.
Don't get so hung up on how a moderator "should behave". I'm just a fight fan like any of the rest of you guys. I'm not a saint. I speak my mind just like anybody else.
And I'll concede to you that perhaps P*ssy was a bit harsh...but guess what...I said it, I meant it, and I'll probably say it again at some point
I live by the policy of "If I said it I must've meant it. So I either owe you an apology...or nothing"
So I'm not gonna pretend like I meant something different from what I said. Perhaps you should just be less sensitive. Harsh talk kinda comes with the territory of a Harsh sport.
I don't make a habit of attacking forum members, but a few fighters are on my sh*t list. Haye's one of 'em.

Re: Haye v whyte
I find the whole 'Haye is a pussy' line to be really weird. Possibly due to the fact that he was always a bit of a looker, a bit flash, clearly fancied himself and so on. He was hard as nails and took on some proper challenges in his career. Going away from home for Mormeck, Valuev and Klitschko all suggested he was hardly lacking in bottle.
The injuries took their toll but he was a real superstar for a while and did a lot of good for British boxing.

Re: Haye v whyte
The Haye is a p*ssy remark is down to the fact that he talked up and backed out of fights I wanted to see 3 or 4 times. I acknowledge that he's faced, and defeated solid opposition. He's a good fighter. I don't mean "he's a p*ssy" in the sense that he can't fight. But I get the feeling a few of those "injury" pull outs were bullsh*t.dirk2686 wrote: ↑02 May 2018, 21:12 I find the whole 'Haye is a pussy' line to be really weird. I just turned on him hard when he talked so much sh*t to both Klitschko's, had the shirt made of having them beheaded and all that, and then backed out, and played games for years before ever actually fighting one of 'em.
He can fight, but I'll never like the guy.
I don't judge fighters based on their looks.
Re: Haye v whyte
Wasn't the whole reason behind Haye pulling out of the Wlad fight because Setanta went bust? And his contract meant he therefore wasn't getting paid?gilgamesh wrote: ↑02 May 2018, 21:37The Haye is a p*ssy remark is down to the fact that he talked up and backed out of fights I wanted to see 3 or 4 times. It seems odd to hate the guy based on that, especially when he went on to fight Wlad anyway.
And it seems pretty churlish to slag him off for injuries if he's actually injured. He did six rounds or so with a ruptured Achilles standing on one leg to all intents.
Re: Haye v whyte
He certainly showed courage fighting through the injury as long as he did in the first Bellew fight no doubt.dirk2686 wrote: ↑02 May 2018, 21:41

I just don't like David Haye ok. It's an irrational dislike perhaps I'll admit, but sometimes it be like that.
