Due to an ankle injury before the fight, Mr.Guido Cavalleri could not officiate as referee in the fight. He worked at ringside as judge scoring the fight 114-114. Mr. Massimiliano Bianco replaced him as referee. The other judges scored 115-114 in favor of Di Silvio (Barrovecchio) and 113-116 for Ceglia (Muratore).
