It's not a good idea to have people knocking on 40 turning over and becoming fighters.
It's dangerous enough for guys who started as kids and boxed their whole adult lives.
Do it

I don't know about a senior F1 race Mimmy, I know age doesn't matter but your credentials do.Mimmy wrote: ↑03 May 2018, 08:46I know what you mean. But as im 49 its a bitter pill to be told you cant do something because you are that age.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑03 May 2018, 08:39Again, I'm still glad.

You do need 75k and a Sherpa to drag you up, but you can do it Mimmy.
You can also drive an F1 car, just not in a race and very slowly....

Yeah they use the bodies as markers for future climbers to navigate their way up the mountain, theres docs about it on youtubeMimmy wrote: ↑03 May 2018, 11:47Speaking of Everest, a bit off topic from the original posting but ive heard that people who die up their stay up there. Usually yes, too dangerous for a chopper and whats the point in carrying a dead body? You're just wasting your own energy.Mimmy wrote: ↑03 May 2018, 11:47Speaking of Everest, a bit off topic from the original posting but ive heard that people who die up their stay up there. Re: Rio Ferdinand pro debut
There is actually over 200 dead bodies scattered around Everest. That is absolutely amazing really. A climber has to bump into one. Not a great site i would imagine but saying that it would be interesting to see a 100 year old body frozen.banjo wrote: ↑03 May 2018, 11:55Usually yes, too dangerous for a chopper and whats the point in carrying a dead body? They use em as a mental barrier. As you pass one you think to yourself ' well at least I beat that guy'banjo wrote: ↑03 May 2018, 11:55Usually yes, too dangerous for a chopper and whats the point in carrying a dead body? You're just wasting your own energy.

I imagine a fair amount of mountaineers are killed in avalanches.Mimmy wrote: ↑03 May 2018, 12:02There is actually over 200 dead bodies scattered around Everest. That is absolutely amazing really. It's mostly just dickheads with too much money climbing the last 1/3 so they can have a photo on their office wall showing them "climbing" Everest.banjo wrote: ↑03 May 2018, 12:04I imagine a fair amount of mountaineers are killed in avalanches.
Imagine getting all the way up there and finding a 100 year old frozen corpse and not being able to find a stick to poke it with

never thought about that. infact water boils at 71 degrees, so your tea would be warm.
Re: Rio Ferdinand pro debut
Umm, yes Stuart. I'm sure you did. Unless her Gary was frozen and your tounge stuck to it, how exactly does this relate to getting your knob stuck to a 100 year old frozen corpse?
