BIBA would welcome him with open arms why doesn’t he go down that route if he wants it that bad ?

It would be hard for any sanctioning body to grant a licence without any Am experience. It's been done before, maybe to younger prospects. Of course, money talks.

He’s still got six months before he hits 40. He could squeeze a few amateur bouts in if he fancies a go. Mind you, no one would make any money off him if he did that.

He should try training for the luge event, he's fast/powerful runner and it would give him the buzz he's looking for.

No that’s just not true.
I don’t know how it is around the world but there are plenty of BBBoC and BIBA boxers with no amateur experience

I said it would be hard, not impossible. Is there any reasons given why the BBoBC denied him?
One would assume he could breeze through a medical.

It’s neither hard nor impossible.
No reason has been given on any of the reports I’ve seen nor by Rio himself.
I’d imagine it is his age coupled with no prior experience but the BBBoC don’t have any obligation to give a reason.

Freddy Flintoff was 35

Loads fighters go pro without amateur experience. Friend of mine did recently . He had BBBOC assessors come to the gym and watch him train for one hour then marked him on various things out of ten

I have a pic of the score card they used - dont know how to upload it
