Haye's an athlete with millions of pounds in his account to buy him the best doctors, physios etc. If he can't get fit for a fight then he would surely know himself and just retire.

I think hell be in good enough shape to give Bellend an absolute pasting.

Haye does appear to be in better shape this time. I think we'll see a points victory for him in a controlled performance.

Shame I'll be at work :verysad:

Tough fight for me...listened to fight one with my old man on his death bed. My old man was a big Haye fan and used to call him "My son". He used to joke that he was the biological father of Haye...anyway at the end of the fight....with proper old school dodgy reception. My old man said..."like me....my boy is fucked"....sad but lovely memories..he died 2 days later.

For that reason I'm willing Haye on more than I've willed any boxer....get revenge for my old man.

Again Haye should win. But lot of unfair criticism for Bellew. before the last fight he admitted that Haye probably would have beaten him in his day... But added for anyone that would listen that "David Haye is a broken man." And he was right.

Unless Haye really needs the cash and values that more than another defeat he wouldn't have signed up for the fight unless he was pretty sure he would be in shape and win, hopefully it will be the last between them whatever the result though

It's curious. No one mentioned the fact that Bellew put Haye out of the ring with a broken hand... People, be more objective.

I know there is nothing in the open work outs, but also in the behind the ropes - Bellew looks quick and sharp, Haye looks old..... but come on Haye.

ya and funny how the fight changed hugely exactly when hayes acchilles totally went. its not as if haye were up 4-1 x3 and getting even more in control, but then suddenly was totally out of the fight. and its not like haye was effectively on one leg and gimping around the ring whereas bellew kept using the supposedly broken hand repeatedly, could move around fine, and seemed to have his body generally in line.

fact is it was obviously hayes injury that turned the fight so hugely, when he started staggering around in the 6th it became totally different, and he was obviously hugely limited in effectivness by it and could hardly do anything but hobble or lean on the ropes because his one leg was gimp. that hugely ruins offense and defense. bellew obviously didnt have it nearly as bad , so thats probably why its not mentioned anywhere as much, and i have to lolz at ppl whod try to suggest they essentially wash each other out

but ya, maybe that hand is why bellew was hardly making a dent in a one-legged man and even gassing at points and couldnt get him out of there for so long until haye was half pushed out of the ring

Been mentioned.. Hearn announced it yesterday. overall, some good names on the undercard.

This is only a 6 rounder..

Stop being ridiculous. A broken hand is nowhere near as debilitating as a ruptured achilles, fighters fight one with broken hands all the time.

Was there any reason why Bellew didn't insist on fighting in Liverpool for the rematch?
