Gavin fights Lejarraga next - tough gig

Post by Wales »

Seemingly a Tough gig for Frankie against Lejarraga who looked pretty destructive against Skeete

Should be good.
Lejarraga is a big favourite and it’ll probably go the same way as Skeete. But, but, but you can never completely write Gavin off out-pointing a puncher.

honestly i never felt gavin was a talented a pro as some say with all the stuff about him being some wasted talent who wouldve been world level with dedication

hes a solid fighter but really not actually that slick at all. i mean how long did it take tough as nails but crude eggy to drop him? and a green skeete lost there fight largely for not throwing enough, he was actually landing decent when he did and had gavin marked up. not like bundu was this huge guy who overwhelmed him with size either

im not sure hed ever be more then maybe euro level even if he were at 140. id expect larraga to beat the sh!t out of him

More chance of West Ham winning the Premier League than this happening.

There is also more chance of West ham winning the premier league than him (Gavin) winning (if it goes ahead)

So basically West ham have more chance of winning the league twice..... :TU:

He wasn't a great pro - obviously - but there was some serious talent in there. There were short flashes of brilliance that few boxers could do. That mastery of distance, timing and footwork.. IF he was ripped, conditioned and strong, (instead of skinnyfat, puny and weak) he coulda backed that up and woulda won some big fights..
Turns out woulda, coulda, shoulda has been his career - and that's a shame. :witzend:
