Why do so many ppl think Brook is Done at the World Level???

porter was a much harder fight for thurman, he was hurt to the body and really had to fight hard to the end to win that. vs garcia he got way ahead and then just coasted for a win. but i wouldnt say that means porter beats garcia, porter is very strong but garcias a much sharper puncher and should score will with counters. would be a good match up i can see it going either way

Physically yes it was, but Thurman lit him up much more often than Danny. Thurman was on the back foot or moving most of the night against DG didn't have a big lead obviously almost lost. Close low contact rounds, nothing like the Porter fight. Credit Porter for forcing Thurman to fight like that, still didn't work. Now watch how well Danny fought in the pocket, hurting Thurman to the body also. Thurman was hitting Porter at will in some of those rounds, he knew better than to trade too much with a better counter puncher in Danny. Danny isn't as strong or physical but his skills were giving Thurman problems no doubt about it. Hence why Danny actually won on a card and Shawn lost on all 3.

the cards for thurman were 116-112, 115-113 vs garcia and 115-113 x3 vs porter. not much difference at all (widest card of the two fights was vs garca) and the generous card to garcia was only 115-113/

really not much a difference in the way the judges scored it overall and thurman went on cruiser control vs garcia in a way he didnt for porter, he had to work much harder vs porter and was forced to fight till the end. one judge somehow scoring for garcia doesnt really say much, you could just as easily have found 115-113 for porter too. ive actually seen just as many fan cards to porter as garcia

but porter vs garcia wont be dertermined based on who did better vs thurman
