good question

chis: malik scott, kevin johnson, edmund gerber, sexton x2, pala, danny williams

price: sexton, skelton, audley, big john mcd, pala, dallas

i think malik scotts probably the best of all thoseguys at the time of the fights.

tbh i think even johnson might be better than anyone price beat at the time he beat them. i would put gerber at worst level with the best for price too.

Yeh. Scott and Johnson piss on anyone Price has beat. Even a Tony 'break my wifes hips' Thompson win would maybe borderline top those 2..

Chisora. It's not even close at all if you give him the win he deserved against Helenius, and the win he probably deserved against Whyte.

Adding those 2 makes it a no brainer. It's a shame they're not wins on paper.

Compare those to the resume of Jamie Cox!

So how does someone bump a thread?

Ruthless-RKO bumped the thread and Coco responded to the bumped thread in the same minute?

Why bump this thread? It's not particularly topical is it?

Hmmm, I don’t seem to have the ability to bump my threads :maybe: (not that I ever thought about doing it anyway)

I just bumped my British Top 30 P4P thread. There's an option to bump it in the first post.

I never knew about that. I assume that it's a new feature.

I don't think I'll be using that ability again. Why not just post something new in the thread instead?

Harrison would beat Sexton fairly comfortably in my opinion.

sexton was the best win and performance

if they'd followed the blueprint they would have fought and beaten Sprott after that.....

He could've edited it or deleted it. Or a moderator may have found no no's in the post and bumped it.

The issue for Price is who the hell wants to fight him? Way too much risk for nil reward but he’ll blow away any British level fighter.

Even against povetkin he showed why no top heavy will want to get in a ring with him. If he catches you once he carries immense power.

I don’t think I’ve seen povetkin rocked like that before.

You say that, but he's fought plenty of decent heavyweights.

Why should we assume that he'll start getting ducked now?

Exactly. People putting forward the Tyson fury fight as a possibility are just not taking this into account. Price is the most senior member of the who-needs-him club. Nobody above him will fight him voluntarily, nobody. His best chance is to get himself into a mandatory for the British title and hope Hughie fancies the fight but I can see Hughie vacating as he has a name at world level after the Parker fight. Hughie got offered the wilder fight. Price will never be offered a title fight. He will have to get through miller, duahaupas, breazeale etc and I don't think he can.

After Thompson beat him he really didn't fight that many decent names until Povetkin.

Teper and Hammer.

Was anyone avoiding him in that time? He was just dropping in level to rebuild confidence in between getting knocked out, wasn't he?

Price will not be ducked to any significant extent. He is not currently a bad risk vs reward proposition for most fighters.
