Langford-Welborn
This one is overshadowed by bigger fights this weekend, but Langford-Welborn is intriguing.
I know Langford is being groomed for better things and has a better record, but looking at fight vids I don't see any damn reason that Welborn isn't going to walk right in on him and unload all night. If Tommy can handle the punishment I suppose he could outwork him in constant exchanges, but I don't see him doing that. He's going to try to use his feet but Welborn's been able to step with better men, losing effort or not. BTW, I don't expect Langford's spindly arms to produce the kind of liver shots that ended Welborn against Gavin Reese and Liam Smith.
I got Welborn to win at 7/1. It's closed up some since, but Welborn still has great value at 5-1. If you put in ring quality above records and hype this is a pick'em fight.
One man's opinion here and I've been wrong a few times before.

Agreed, there looks like there could be value to be had in the Cox / Ryder fight.freddydoesdallas wrote: ↑03 May 2018, 02:02 Personally, I think Haye v Bellew is a fight to avoid betting on. It's essentially a fight that is just full of spin and too many secrets and lies.

Ryder points is 15/8, don't think Ryder has that much power to get Cox out of there.
I might have a little bet on this: John Ryder - To Win After Being Knocked Down ~ 6/1

Great shout that one.
I’ve got a small profit off the weekend’s bets already AND the acca only needs (ahem) another 5 long shots for the £100k dream jackpot
Re: Betting thread
I'm going Ward and Haye by stoppage and Ryder and Rodriguez by decision. 35/1.
Ward isn't the biggest puncher but Tennyson has been stopped in both of his losses and was wild and got hurt himself after dropping Traynor at the end of last year.
I'm really rooting for Ryder to beat Cox. Hoping his experience will see him through after a quick start from Cox.
Rodriguez has 12 stoppages in 17 and this is a step up for him so hopefully Butler can go the distance.
Haye/Bellew could go either way. I've got no confidence in Haye's body holding up so I'll probably cover myself with a bet on Bellew KO 7-12 or something similar.
EDIT - Bet down at half 6, lovely!

Ali down to only -130 after opening at -250.
A lot of questions as to whether Ali can deal with pressure from a relentless, strong Mexican puncher.
Munguia looks pretty big. He's green but he'll certainly test Ali's heart and durability.

Don't think anywhere will have it but Badou Jack to be knocked down but win on points would be a good bet for the weekend.
