Well Bellew pretty much said none of them, they're too big. He wants someone smaller like Usyk or Ward

id like to see him fight the wbss winner

ward is kind of a strange fight, beat him and you beat an excellent but little guy without a track record at cruiser, lose to that little guy and lol.

the wbss winner makes sense and is far more exciting . he was a champ shortly before the tournament got under way, and was a logical inclusion but he turned it down for haye. now haye is gone, he can make a big fight with the winner for the undisputed cruiser title, with the winner having his old wbc belt for added storyline.

and he gets to do that having skipped out on fighting any of the other elite cws, who were probably more dangerous then haye

"According to the new BoxRec Rankings, Bellew is now #4. So I guess a title shot," he said sarcastically."

I'm getting the feeling that Tyson Fury would be interesting for a first fight back. :maybe:

Um not going on much it’s what came to mind. I would say that because both try and box behind a jab. Bellew could be faster and has that counter left hook.....I give him a chance.

Yeah but he's not going to get a big pay out for it, the only reason would be to be in a better postion for a shot at the title, but he's not interested.

Him and Fury don’t like one another and have discussed a potential fight on TV recently

Maybe after Tyson has won a couple .... big stumbling block is Fury being with Warren and Bellew being with Hearn.

ward-bellew would be a mutual cherry pick. strange fight. much rather see bellew vs the wbss winner and thats a much more significant fight for cruiser.

I guess I'm on my own in suggesting Parker. I just think the styles match well and Parker isnt too much bigger.

after the first haye fight, when parker still had the belt, i thought it wouldve been a good one for bellew. from what id seen of parker till then im not at all convinced that bellew couldnt beat him. parker did look sharper in his boxing vs aj then id seen though, but im still not convinced by him

Parker fight crossed my mind.

But come on now an Andre Ward v Tony Bellew fight would blow the roof off.

blow the roof off?

id much rather see bellew vs the wbss winner, the actual top cruiser

ward vs bellew is a strange fight and a mutual cherry pick. id bet it be less fun to watch too.

Bellew won't want Parker now he lost the belt. It's a shame, speed Vs power and ringcraft. There arnt many good heavies around Bellew's size. Takem might be entertaining. Bellew wants big time big money, but only AJ and Wilder could bring it, and no way would that be fair to Bellew.

ya, its a wierd fight evander, guy could fight the wbss winner (who would hold his old belt) for the undisputed crown, yet instead he fights a guy whose mainly been a super middleweight , and never fought at cruiser? i assume thats where theyd fight....

its a mutual cherry pick, ward going for bellew rather then the bigger dogs at cruiser, bellew going for ward because the size gives bellew by far his best chance of beating an elite p4p guy. if bellew won im not sure how youd even rate it. i mean hed be a guy who just fought twice at heavy beating a guy coming up from lhw, who only went to lhw after a long smw career.

and if ward wins its not like he beat a consensus current elite cruiser who holds a belt and is a legit champ there. it would still be good no doubt but hed need to follow up with something else to make a cruiser campaign really notable or memorable beyond a p4p guy beating a decent bigger guy.
